天后嘉文幼稚園好唔好?

I'm thinking of enrolling this KG for my little girl. Iheard there're bad comments in regards to this KG awhile back in 2005. Besidethat instant, is this a good KG?

嘉文 is not the only KG I've considered. I've alreadyconsidered 嘉諾撒聖心, 寶血, 天主教聖瑪加利大 & 聖公會. Many mums have talked about them, but 嘉文is just few streets from me with very few comments about it. I've heard thatthey've provide a good English environment.

I know there're others like Victoria & St. Paul which are very popular whichI don’t want to pressurise my daughter.


Being a first time mum, Ireally don’t know which KG is best for my daughter. All I can do is to check onBK and search on the web.

我又真係無聽過嘉文COMMENT, 我女以前讀過銅鑼灣TINKERBELL, 都唔係大路既選擇, 不過我俾佢讀N班姐, 始終都要為小朋友升小作打算呀, 所以K1我都轉左去真光(我好怕大抽獎呀)
你地址係12網定14網? 如果12網就定好多...仲有你心儀小學係咩類型?

wow what a coinstant. C6 wants my daughter to go to Tinkerbell too but then when we think about it since we can't afford for international school and she'll have a hard time to catch up in primary school. I’m not sure which school net I’m in. I live in Fortress Hill. C6 wants her to go to Marymount. I don’t know much about the primary school in HK since I didn’t study in HK.

建議你先去了解一下香港小學既派位制度, 官校同津校(包括MARYMOUNT)都係要THROUGH政府派位

住炮台山就係14網, MARYMOUNT係12網, 想抽中就難好多, 如4班120人裡面, 60個位係自行分配(無分都幾難入), 60個位係統一派位, 而呢60個位入面, 54個係FOR12網, 只有6個係FOR全港其他咁多區

而私校同直資就自己考, 例如真光可以直升小學, ST PAUL亦好LIKELY可以直升

所以點去部處, 真係要好小心 (THAT'S WHY你話好多人考既幼稚園, 一定有原因既....)

Thanks for your explanation Charlotte_mom. I'll need to study hard on them in order to have a good plan for my daughter. I think being a parent in HK is hard with all these competitions in this early stage of the kids' life.

係, 好變態, 但現實就係咁
我2個小朋友都上左岸(升晒小學)喇, 無辦法, 想入間心儀既小學(EVEN唔係TOP SCHOOL, 只係想佢開開心心既學校)都要過5關斬6將, 唔簡單

我知間KG係邊,係2樓那間丫麻,我意思是住天后附近的小朋友都唔覺有人返這間,我見住天后的比較多見係"SO 浙" "真光""寶血""維記"那些......

我以前讀呢間，好一般。

我囡舊年讀了兩個月PN就走(因從kowloon搬到HK，唔想過海到九龍塘讀 ，唯有放棄本來已收了PN的KG)，但8月搬，9月開學，跟本揾唔到KG。當時發現嘉X, 又近屋企，全班11,12人，兩個老師(後來3個老師潻)，一位嬏嬏，一星期有一堂net , 一堂普,表面睇，好到不得了，除咗嗰環境係2樓。
但後來發老師冇愛心，大部份小朋友仲著片，佢地早我囡1個月入學，但學校好似冇train 小朋友，全班得我嗰女去厠所。
有一朝我遲到9點半返學，見到個平時喊到死死吓嘅小朋友笑笑口，原來佢拎住支珍寶珠，再望真D，原來全珍細路一人一支珍寶珠，我覺得學校唔應該主動派糖，仲係9:30，太早啦。
另外，都有同學係我走咗之後，佢都冇讀啦。
但我住附近，都常見到佢地D學生，有D仲要坐校車，巴士。
我個人認為多住附近而冇要求，冇好學校收，好似我last min揾唔到KG, 先會選佢。
我suggest你apply D 大路學校會好D。
以上純屬個人意見！

The kd closed already la, coz the rental increase, but anyway, this is a good kd, my daugther have PN class from Nov last year, she is very happy and learnt a lot and the teachers were very nice and good.....
