We have just decided to take the school bus too, given the unpleasant experience of waiting at the bus stop for more than 10 minutes under bright sunshine and hot weather.

BTW, we just learned from a would-be P2 student's mother that on the 1st 3 adaptation days last year, parents could stay for an hour in the hall (i.e. 8-9 am)and watch them line up and go to their classrooms if they want.  Not sure if the same arrangement is available this year.

Thanks for your info.  Just received school bus info today.  6:55am in the morning and 3:15pm in the afternoon from 1 Sep.  My son needs to wake up very early in the morning la.  : (

Oh, really thanks for your info!  According to school bus company, parents are allowed to accompany their kids to take the school bus to school on 24 Aug.  I'll do so and see if we are allowed to stay in the school for a while as last year.

Just called the school.  Parents are allowed to stay in the covered playground and wait until the children go upstairs to the classrooms before they have to leave for all 3 adaptation days.

就我的觀察，今天有參與聚會的十多個家庭中，有五家的兒子和小兒將會同班，其中一位更算是我們的鄰居，所以相當興奮!

贊成! 反正25/8早上我會放假, 早餐聚會是最好不過呢!
29 & 30/8 - 小兒早上絕對有空到會所耍樂呢!!

Yes.  Last year, parents were allowed to stay at the hall to watch Mrs Lam's briefing and playing games with the boys for around half an hour.  Then, the boys went to their classrooms and parents would leave the school.

其實25/8上午是家長聚會，有送小朋友到學校的家長可自由參與；28/29/30是給小朋友玩耍的，家長也可在旁交流。我也覺得28/8下午家長可一起來的機會大一點，當然要看各位的活動安排了。

This is what I heard from a YW parent too, but when I called the school this morning, the lady said parents would be allowed to stay until their children go upstairs to the classroom.  In any case, I will stay until I am asked to leave. :)
