有沒有現在讀協恩幼稚園的家長？現在的課程有什麼特色／優勢？強調什麼？學術？表達能力？道育？我的妹妹是舊生，但畢業多年，不知現在是怎樣。小女is offered上午K1位，快要付學費了。謝謝幫忙！！

中文強，用故事書認詞語，要猜迷語，背迷面，兒歌。K2先寫字，有net, 每天15mins 對15學生。K1 下學期開始每天功課，周末有時做週記，閱讀報告，專題報告，極重視德育，筆順。

YMCA international school.  I am worried that  if she goes to Heep Yunn KG, she will lose the good English environment she has now in nursery. I am thinking about hiring someone to teach her Chinese if she's in YMCA or join English classes after school if in Heep Yunn. But I don't know which one is better... Also, my girl is expressive, but a bit 慢熱和細膽, I am worried traditional sch will hinder self-confidence development. I don't know if Heep Yunn is still 'traditional' now. I am looking for a kindergarten that encourage verbal skills, presentation skills, problem-solving skills, rather than how many words or numbers teacher has taught them. Is Heep Yunn right for me?

HY and YMCA are totally different types of school...are you planning to let her do IB or tradition primary school?
though my kid is not in heep yunn, i learnt from other parents (also my friend) that HY is good in developing kids' self confidence, presentation skill and academic foundation etc.  however, it definitely cannot provide an english speaking environment as YMCA does....
i guess you should make your decision by considering what what kind of primary school you want her to do in 3 years....if you are thinking of traditional primary school, heep yunn would absolutely be the choice....

只覚得中文難學過英文，特別培養小朋友對中文之興趣

Thank you all for your advice. I agree that Chinese is more difficult to learn, but I am not a native English speaker, I can't provide an English environment for her... But for Chinese, I can still try my best...
My choice of primary school are schools like PLK Chok Kai Yau, I heard they stress on English and PTH and good presentation skills and self confidence. Well, both Heep Yunn and YMCA have minimal PTH training, so it's already a given that I have to get extra help. But for English, I guess YMCA will be more advantageous. Any more thoughts, mommies and daddies?

If you like CKY, u should target YMCA, LH, St. Cat, etc. HY may not satisfy your plan.

你想好就快D放協幼個位出黎,我相信好多家長心儀協小架

I would also try to find out statistically what primary school students from both kg went to.  

does your daughter enjoy ymca?  mine attends an english eca class in ymca and she doesnt like it that much.  I found the teaching nothing special and the teacher in my daughers class was not that skilled to draw kids attention, its just conducted in english, thats all.   obviously, this might not apply to ymca international but its worth to double check.

what kind of eca class did your girl take? are those teachers the ones in the kindergarten? i can check it out for you, just give me the details.

It's not easy to get statistics easily if you don't know any teacher or parent related to that school. Moms like me can only rely on other mommies who can share in this forum.

好多人有20分以上，少過10個入翻。大抽獎仲難。敲門位又好少。不過叻學生會走曬去DGJS。

I think both are good.  For SH, you have a higher chance to stay in SHPS if you can pay the tuition fee of private PS.  For HY, you just need to wait for the luck to come to stay in HYPS.  Personally, I like HY more.  Well prepared the student in different aspects.

我之前都有呢兩間offer,結果我選擇SH,就係因為升小問題，又唔夠分，同埋識得有朋友女兒讀梗，HY都算係開心幼稚園，驚上小學辛苦d!
