Urgent, 有關鋼琴考試

我打算同阿女報二級鋼琴考試, 老師建議, 可以揀阿女自己讀間小學做centre, 會好d, 又可以唔使請假, 但我地屋企離學校好遠, 要成1個鐘, 同事又話小朋友要週居勞動, 可能會影響考試, 話揀番屋企附近好d. 咁點好呢, 下星期deadline la?
另外, 阿女英文唔叻, 係咪要請translate好d?

我覺得附近近便就可以啦!
而translate係一定要,
要提提你記得臨考之前一星期要 book定間考琴室彈吓.

如果你女女考ABRSM 只可揀區份，但唔可以直接揀centre喎, 你老師係咪攪錯左呀?　我覺得一定揀近屋企的，有時候你派到９：００ＡＭ考，　咁又晨咁早入去咩？？
二級ａｕｒａｌ好簡單，如有充分練習不用請翻譯。

maybe they mean private center. If the piano studios or learning centers  (if for primary school.. should be the music primary school in Diamond Hill??) have enough candidates, they can apply to be private center. Then, even the register staffs would be their own staffs but not from HKEAA. So, the candidates might feel more comfortable and relaxed to see the people they know there. If it is really held on school hours, it might be a good idea. She just needs to leave the classroom to the center venue. So, the travelling time shouldn't be a problem?!

About interpreter, I agree that Grade 2 aural would not be too difficult.

However, sometimes the children would feel easier and more comfortable to have a Chinese going to the exam room with them.

So, it depends on the children's character.

My son is going to attend ABRSM Grade 2 Exam in May.  Can anyone tell me the marks allocation for different parts (exam pieces, sight reading & aural)?  Thanks.

It's right.  我女係Diamond Hill 讀, 佢鋼琴老師都係咁講. 好似平時咁返學, 到考試時就落去考試, 佢話環境熟, 會好d. 但我屋企離學校好遠, 平時都係搭校車. 如果好似其他媽咪講, 考9:00, 好似好rush咁. 而且會唔會考官見佢係呢間學校既學生, 計分會緊d (我諗), 而我公司同事, 佢係演奏級, 都話唔好揀自己學校做centre.
至於interpreter, 老師都建議請, 而且阿女英文又不大好, 所以我諗都會請, 下星期deadline, 仲未諗好揀邊做centre.

What is the first lesson time at school? I suppose it should be earlier than 9am, right? The exam would be from 9am-5:15pm. (lunch break is 12:30-1:45)
The primary school teachers there would ask the students to line up for register earlier. Then, the students could go to the piano practise room to practise or even ask the piano teachers to help if time allowed. If you have exam in other venue, I don't think you can do so. Well, you might pay for the room to practise but sometimes it is not allowed.

我女9:00正式上堂. 之前係班主任時間. 如果琴試9:00鐘考, 咁咪好趕lor, 佢校車好似8:00左右到學校.
其實我未睇點報名, 但如果報學校做centre, 咁係咪一定派到學校做centre, 我驚係派學校所屬嗰區咋. 另外, 我係咪要同老師/學校講阿女考琴選左學校做centre, 咁到考試嗰日老師就會作有關安排?
咁家長可唔可以考試當天陪小朋友呀?

Yes, if you choose to take exam in a private center, then it would be the venue. You needn't worry about that.
If you can arrive the school at 8am, there is enough time!! The examiner would not reach that early even some might like to start the exam a bit earlier than 9am.
No people are allowed to go to the exam room with the candidate. I don't know you can wait in the waiting room or not as it is decided by the school then.

請問各位有經驗人士，我的囝囝今年第一次考2級，在考試前夕真的有需要book 試場琴房練習嗎？因為老師說了不能陪我和囝囝入試場琴房練習，只得我陪，而我又不懂彈琴，真的有作用嗎？而且價錢不平，$190／30 mins?
真的煩惱。

如果你囝囝從來彈過三角琴, 係需要練一練的，看譜高度不同, touch也較重，如學生未試過可能會驚，到時可能會彈錯哂。老師唔陪唔緊要, 你可以錄影/錄音左俾老師聽返。
如果小朋友已有考試/比賽經驗, 就唔使book啦。
