找到些hku 2010入大學既學生資料,真是很吃驚,沒有4A1B, 3A2B, 2A3B,全部拿C都未必去到熱門學系.且看:

唉!我咁留心,因為大仔明年要考A LEVEL,而他的成績只是一般,最盡(未計失手)可能會有2C/3C,怎麼打算好呢?

有什麼建議?

You mean difficult to get into universities or get into the most popular programs. The answer can be quite different.

My focus more on borderline case and the enhanced portfolio may help. If the IB/AL/GCE results may behind the norm too much, it's difficult.

Another options are:-
1. Overseas education even China; and
2. IVE - HD with top up degree (depends on what professional degrees you refer to).

I don't mention Associate Degree as it's cheating........ and present a false hope to parents and kids......

我要細味嘴嚼一下d資料,有問題會pm你,希望你不戒意.其實我覺得在外國讀2年預科,用gce result入u,機會還大些.

I talked to some Professors in HK. Many years back, many local students studied in UK with overseas educational allowance and they got the GCE AL results and applied HK universities to lower the tuition fee, as no more allowance after 18 yrs old.

Initially, they thought its fine and offered some hot programs to those students, but the results less satisfactory. Now, they hesitate to offer hot programs to students with GCE AL results. I know some programs still fine but not all.

Even IB, they are also very cautious about the results, they prefer IB score >30 for Big 3.

As many people said that GCE is too easy now, will IB results be more welcomed than GCE AL for non-Jupas applicants?

I think so.

When I refer to gee, I was thinking about uk university.

CE20 會相對容易少少
甘當然AL成績會係最緊要
