To ensure my girl answer her gender correctly, I will give her a 裙仔 to wear. She once answered she was a "男仔" when she wore pants!

I was like you all worrying on my daughter's interview at SPK.  Now that she is with SPK K1.  You should have lot of trust with your kid.  They know what to do when told to perform something by the teacher.  

Just one note to all of you.. this year.. I do not see any SPK students (K1) have yet to enter any pre-nursery.  They are all well prepared to SPK K1.  Everyone is excellent in school performance.  Just make sure your kids have the common sense when asked to answer some common questions such as what do you think of this comb will be used for?  They are looking for some girls with good thinking skill.

You can tell her she just go inside for 2 minutes and answer teacher's question, then she can get something she likes from you when she come out without crying.

SPK都係我地最後in既一間，都預左無咩機會，佢肯合作自己入課室及完成interview我已經收貨！

If you can go into SPK, no need to worry - they will accept all into P1 - including SPK, and the two SPNs.

my son is the kind who would rush into the room and don't want to leave. He will not cry. But he just play the toys on the table without responding to the teacher's question. He will be fully attracted by the toys.

So eventhough some babies don't cry, doen't mean they will perform well inside the room.

Anyone knows how many students in the room?
Is it baby come out one by one? Can the parents look through the glass and see what happens inside the room?

不要誤會...不是所有直升...不過比例相當高...(不過近年有mami 話 ratio 低左)

K3 開學不久會告訴你係 accepted or not..

小學校長會嚟 KG visit..不過不會單對單 interview..你唔會知道準則

We have just attended the interview.  it was crowded at school entrance and applicant can only enter the school 5 mins before interview time.  kids  (can't remember how many.. 6-10? i think) go into the room alone with teachers and can't see what's going on inside.  Some kids cried loudly but that makes the atmosphere a bit tense.  My girl didn't cry but looked a bit scared when she came out of the room.   She is unable to tell what she has been asked and seemed that she didn't want to talk about the interview...

the result will be announced on or after 8 March 2011.
