If my memory is correct, Maryknoll offers 150 P1 places. 50% of these places would be put aside for the Discretionary Places Admission Stage, .i.e. 75 places. For these 75 places, 45 places are for applicants with siblings studing in the Maryknoll and 30 places are for applicants to be selected according to the Points System. That is to say, your little daughter belongs to this category.
I do not know the number of applicants for this category. It is worth noting that several threads were posted in BK in late Nov 2010 (after the result announcement) asking whether any children with 20 marks were successfully admitted by Maryknoll. However, no positive results were reported.
Therefore, I believe that there were only a few successful cases.
