Pls do remember to release other seats after your decision has been made. A lot of parents are on waiting list and are still anxiously waiting for calls! Well done to your son!

2nd IN 完就好多家長上O黎傾, 出結果後只得好少上O黎報喜, 似乎好多取錄既都係有關係, 舊生, 有哥哥讀緊.......

We had 2nd int on Nov 27 (Sat) but got rejected (not even on waiting). Our application no. is 2xxx. Not very surprised though as we know our son is not very expressive type of kid.

Now awaiting the 2nd int results of some other schools which will be available in Jan 2011.

Congrats to those who got the offer. Those who didn't should not be discouraged. God will prepare the most suitable school for your loved ones.

Hi cornelius,

There are rejection letters for those who were shortlisted for 2nd list but failed to get a place finally? I heard someone saying that all will be put on waiting list and called for 3rd interview if anyone gives up his offer.

I read & made response to your other post before. Good luck to your son and hope you'll get a positive result in end Jan.

got 2nd interiew but no waiting list
DBS only have few waiting list. Some people may offer 3rd interview from the waiting list when there was drop off seat.

Camom, I remember you. Thanks for your concern. I also had thought that those not getting straight-in after 2nd int. would be put on a waiting list. Well, we thank God for indicating clearly to us that DBSPD is not suitable to our son (nor our son suited to the school) so that we don't need to wait for some more months. We have had reservation of our son's character (he's not very outspoken and expressive) and worried if he could get a place at this school.

Now we will wait patiently. As you have rightly pointed out, the announcement of another boys' school is late Jan 2011. Even if the offer we have now in hand becomes the only offer in the end, we would still be thankful as we have asked God to be responsible in the matter (after we as humans have tried our best in every possible way).
