離題撘撘咀, 可能呢個年紀係咁, 阿仔話唔鍾意一首 "Ghost Ship"的歌, 因為有"Ghost"!

有無睇過Enid Blyton的書?

Even if it is funny and easy to read, I believe I won't let my kid read it b'cos of the improper grammar found.  In fact, I don't think it's funny at all.  Simple stories such as the Oxford Reading  ...

我都好同意, Oxford  reading tree係好有效的英語讀物. 連我對英語超差的女兒也容易撑握. 因為內容字句重複又重複, 容易記入腦, 而且內容有趣. 我年幾前買左兩套書(stage 2), 不過到而家先認真每日同佢地讀. 到佢地完全識讀先開另一本新書, 再把印有佢地名字既貼紙貼上去, 每貼一本代表佢地巳識讀, 小朋友好有成功感. 不過一套書6本得幾頁紙成2百幾就真係好貴, 買多幾套都過千. 佢地完成哂兩套書我就會再買另一個stage. 如果真係能夠引起佢地閱讀興趣, 一百套我都會照買 .

Recently we came across some interesting English storybooks which we think are very very good and suitable to primary school students. Their names appear to be like that: Who was/is .......? published by Penguin for young readers. These are all the simplified version of autobiographies, about famous people like Helen Keller, Charles Darwin, Claude Monet, William Shakespeare, Mozart, Reagan, Einstein, Neil Armstrong, etc There are all together 37 books in this series so far. Each costs only HKD 48 from HK Book Centre/Swindon or HKD 47 from Joint Publication. Each book has about 100 pages long with some simple pictures every other page. The series is written in simple English in quite encouraging tone which can easily inspire/move young people's mind to persue their 'dream'/ ambitions. We think parents/teachers can read to or discuss with children as model examples under P3 or can let P4 stuents to read by themselves (our own opinions only). Hope that this sounds interesting to you,

Maybe you should consider the Mainland version of ORT.  It's much much cheaper but the print quality is good.

LesMis99, thanks for your recommendation.  I will try order via bookdepository coz they are cheaper.  around HKD37 only.

市政局，haha，無左好耐啦，康民署呀傻瓜！

圖書館大把好野，都唔使理邊個作者邊個系列，求其執上手，程度適合已經睇得。我個人心得係，去未上架既車仔度搵書會容易搵到好書，因為果d係人地借完還返，多數有好野！

中央圖書館d staff 吾比甘做
我個女試過一次, 想係車仔拿書, 比d staff 話吾得
之後個staff 行到邊, 呀女跟到邊
個staff 一拿起佢想借既書, d 書掂到個櫃....呀女就一手拿走左..........
