Let's pray for Sr. Lorraine Turcotte, the former Principal of SCGS

Dear Clarians,

Our beloved former Principal, Sr. Lorraine Turcotte is now in mother house in Canada, who is now in very poor health condition, and may return to the arms of God in these two days.

Please kindly help to spread this news and join our hands to pray for her. May the Merciful God be with her and the other sisters.

我很渴望女兒能入讀聖嘉勒女書院！

女兒今年五年級，英文在讀、寫、聽方面都優異。但在中文和數學都頗弱，相信在中西區中學校網內暫屬Band 2中至Band2頭學生。請問各位：小女以非本校生能考入或大抽獎派往聖嘉勒的機會如何？很希望聖嘉勒女書院的家長給給寶貴意見！非常感激！:cry:

如果妳女兒的成績是Band 2，轉入聖嘉勒小學讀小五、六後升聖嘉勒女書院的機會是很大，因為今年(2011中一學年)中學部有55個學位留給聖嘉勒小學作為統一抽獎派位用。

而中學校長在小六的家長會時說，有足夠學位給小學部的Band1和Band 2生(因為還有40多個自行收生位)，非小學部的學生(自行或抽獎)只收Band1。

這是今年聖嘉勒小學升中的結果 web link:-

53位升上中學的小學生，有51位是統一派位(包括自行和抽獎)，2位是叩門的。但聖嘉勒小學學費(2010 - 2011年)每月為 $3,060 (全日制)，全年交十個月學費，是非弁利直資小學。

多謝BearBearD的寶貴資料和意見！也驚訝原來聖嘉勒小學如此勁！希望小女努力讀書，能夠升呢Band1尾，起碼能夠有資格參加此校的大抽獎！或自行收生中搏入到此校，則開心不已！

妳也可在聖嘉勒女書院的開放日(時間要問學校)帶同小朋友參觀學校，並找機會問問校長最update的收生行情。

請教聖嘉勒女書院的家長，如果有位小六學生，有品行獎，英文超好，中文相當弱，而數學亦不高，能考入此校的機會如何呢！？很心急相知道過往聖嘉勒收什麼學生！希望有過來人提供寶貴意見。多謝！

Sr.Lorraine Turcotte, the former Principal passed away peacefully at 10:00 a.m.on July 25, 2012 at the mother house of Canada. May all the Clarians please pray for her.

The funeral of Sr.Lorraine will be held at 10:00 a.m on July 28,2012 at the mother house of Canada. A requiem mass will be arranged shortly in Hong Kong by the Past Student Association.
