Aiya, the questionnaire is so important!? I also let my husband to fill in it. My daughter is not doing well today as she is so sleepy. I think it is failed la!

我地就 7 個小朋友一GROUP, 老師叫佢地輪洗同隻兔仔 SAY HELLO, 個個都有講.  之後又輪流同兔仔講出自己既名, 個個都有講, 真係唔知叫好定唔好, 成班小朋友都好強咁.

之後就一人派一個藍, 入面有唔同既玩具, 叫佢地玩, 老師又會一個一個輪住, 就住佢地份玩具問下佢地野, E.G. 我女係一副 0 - 9 既木 PUZZLE, 老師就問佢呢個係咩數目字呀, 有蘋果 & 氣球圖案又問佢咩黎架.  其實真係問得好少野, 一個老師, 7 個小朋友, 好似唔係好理佢地咁~

另外呀女又好爭氣..全組6 個小朋友..只得呀女講得出自己叫咩名..

有冇人面試時間10:30-11:30am左右?
校門等15mins, 校內等10mins, 入大堂坐住等20mins.
(要抱住小朋友坐, 一行開就會有老師叫你坐返好)
叫左名排隊上課室, 再享呢層大堂等10mins,
大堂座位旁邊放滿玩具屋, 煮飯仔, 大積木等玩具,
小朋友一見就想去玩, 但老師話危險唔可以玩,
請家長合作抱小朋友坐好,
但呢班小朋友由門口到呢道已經等左45mins,
仲要對住大堆玩具只可以坐唔可以玩...
我個女算合作, 有扭計但冇玩!
(其實呢part係咪都係面試一部份, 考耐性同定力?)

面試過程同tazman差不多,
我嗰組得我係1個家長去,
囡囡坐定定自己玩, 我就填問卷,
個個家長都填得好快, 我最慢, 老師好好叫我坐底填埋佢!
我覺得老師係用觀察去睇小朋友適唔適合,
即場問卷就=問左家長問題,
應該都對取錄結果有影響!

The interview process is very fast, I think it's within 10 mins (staying in classroom) for 6 families. I fill the questionnaire and my hubby sits with my daughter. Actually, we only have around 6-7 mins to answer 4 questions on questionnaire, the time is tight and the teacher stands in front of us, really like examination...

same for us.... the interview time should be 10:30 am & we arrived at around 10:10 am .... so waiting outside at the street for 15 mins..... then going into the sch for line up  for 10 mins... and then sitting and waiting at the lobby floor about 20 minutes.... and then waited again at the upper floor for another 15 minutes...but no toys.... and nothing for the kids at the uppest floor ..... so my kid went up and jumped at the stage....

the waiting time was longer than I expected ...my gal was getting impatient... and I had to make her happy by using lots of stuffs / toys I brought there... even inside the classroom.... till the teacher put the puzzle at the table, she could then settle down and played.

今日阿女既表現好好,但對手亦吾弱,個個都好似己身經百戰.我覺得今日既面試有點像in小學,據說in小學,家長份問卷50分,小朋友既表現亦是50分.我又覺成個過程學校都好認真,兩個老師問問題兩個老師企係後面觀察,然後見到佢地有寫嘢既動作,吾知係咪評緊分呢?全程既等侯時間約半個鐘,有秩序,老師態度友善.我俾德望今日既安排100分,吾知阿女又如何呢?

did the school asked all applicants went to the school briefing?? the office staff did not invited me to the briefing when I handled in the  application form to them.  So worry if i did not went to the school briefing, will it affect the interview result??

德望今日既安排一定唔合格...
條斜路又斜..人又多....車又多..企係馬路邊, 車來車往咁.....間學校又唔係冇地方...做乜唔比人入去等...要成班人係出面食風..你話我早左一個鐘就話唔比我入o者...早左十分鐘都要係出面企三四個字...
入左去又排過...又係食風...
再入左房...又係排...好似等急症室咁..
上左兩層樓...又係等...

起碼有個室內地方比大家安頓一下都好啦.....
至少感覺尊重我們這班家長和為小朋友著想~

入到去interview...填問卷..ok~問題好正路......
group interview...我個女好多野講....又答哂佢d問題...仲不時想同老師傾計...又係塊寫字板度寫左個A字比老師睇...又用lego整左話一間屋屋比佢睇....老師都唔so佢..=="
前後同佢講左三幾句說話...之後係咁同d唔多出聲個d傾計...ok...明白既..
但係似呼interview的表現未必係同佢地收生的唯一及最重要的準則...
因為佢地問既問題所有大仔大女都一定識答..佢亦都冇叫佢地做其他野...
全程在課室內大約逗留了十分鐘,之後就叫每位同學拿一粒糖 , 然後同老師講再見, 就離開了...
由到校到離開前後花了一個半小時...

i think there were around 100 families ....my c6  fill the questionnaire and he wrote the wrong word ~~  遊水 instead of  游水.........

學校encourage兩位家長一齊去, 應該只係方便家長照顧小朋友? 因為學校由開學到而家好多野都無要求過兩位家長一齊去, 而且舊年都淨係準一位家長入課室, 應該唔會咁都計分掛

我係今日2:30, 成個過程好順利, 我地準時到, 一去到就可以入校門, 入去坐咗唔夠10分鐘就排隊上班房, 中間又有德望小學定中學的同學幫手同小朋友玩, 上咗2層, 等唔夠2分鐘就可以入房玩啦, 完咗我地同羊羊玩一陣, 走都係3:15, 好快呀, 安排得唔錯喎!

Interview時老師都係問下叫咩名, 有幸個女係6個入面其中肯開聲的2個.   (平時group interview佢都係唔出聲).

不過老師叫佢拿兔仔俾佢, 我個女唔識, 我translate做英文佢先做到. 最尾肯開金口唱clean up的歌同埋goodbye song, 不過好細聲, 老師唔知聽唔聽到?

老公嗰part佢話佢填得唔好, 初時諗住填中文, 點知太耐無寫中文, 好多字都唔記得點寫...

我無限時wor..我同旁邊兩位家長都寫得好慢, d小朋友in晒我地仲寫緊, 老師無催仲話小朋友爸爸媽媽未得wor, 不如o係度慢慢玩多陣等埋daddy mommy 先啦

我地都係11時in, 早到左成半個鐘所以門口排得耐, 但入到去都算快, 去到2樓仲唔駛等已經可以直接入班房, 安排ok wor!

我唔知要填問卷, 但因為知道囡囡太黏緊我, 所以選擇叫佢daddy同佢坐, 自己就去家長o個邊, 坐o係度既多數都係daddy, 得我同另一位係媽咪, 好彩... c6由讀書時代開始最怕就係填問卷同寫感受呀讀後感呀, 我工作需要成日要寫野, 我地呢個安排好啱

不過, 無用啦, 聽佢daddy講囡囡都完全唔肯答問題...! 反而我未填完問卷, 佢等等下同老師玩仲好開心有波板糖收!

When we submitted the form, the staff did emphasize that both parents can be there.  At previous BK forums, some parents already said that was almost saying both parents should be there.

Of course I understand the situation you mentioned (not every parent can apply leave for the interviews).  However, according to some kinder teachers (friend's freinds), a lot of famous kinders do "look" and see if both parents are present.  They may not tell you explicitly but they do appreciate more those applicants who are accompanied by both parents.

I was also going alone. I think the result would be affected. You imagine a parent sitting quietly concentrating on filling in the form, this is much better than we need to take care of our kids and ...

My daughter was interviewed in the afternoon. We had to wait for a long time for interview. She was afraid when we entered the lobby waiting room. Maybe it feel like a hospital and many people were waiting. Long waiting time always makes my kid anxious. She refused to sit in the interview room at the beginning, the teacher was nice and used candy to attract her and calm her down. It was successful. The questions were simple and I think most kids could handle them. So I agree that the questionaire plays an important part in the interview.
My husband also seldom writes in Chinese. I think he writes better in English.
