我問過學校，佢地話呢d唔會講，只係話會 "交俾教統局處理"，我諗意思可能係撥去大抽獎，不過真係唔敢肯定。

我當時係揀下午班。

今日又有新消息!

華仁剛才打左兩次電話黎，第一個電話話校長要我地寫番封信俾佢地確認放棄，第二個電話話教育局會有d手續要我地做，要我地自己問教育局。天啊，我只想做好心早d放位，點解會搞到咁麻煩？

最後，教育局話，佢地會有封信寄俾我地，確認要唔要自行個位，到時剔左放棄就會即刻取消自行個位。

各位有放棄自行位o既家長，唔知你地放棄自行位o個陣係咪都係咁麻煩架？

都唔麻煩, 我既offer是在自行公佈之後, 到注册直資學位時, 會有張很簡短既form填, 填完就ok了.

The problem is, the school who has offered my son a place is a private school, not a DSS, so the place releasing process is not automatic.

I've just received the acceptance letter from the school that we like the most. And, we'll give up a place from a well-known local girl's school that we've got from discretionary stage.
Hope you'll get the offer from YW soon.

Congratulations to you on receiving the offer.  I hope it will relieve your nervousness in the past months.  I am pleased to be of help to you.

If you don't mind, please indicate in this thread which school place you have received in the discretionary stage you will release, probably after the registration of your favourite school.  This will give hope to parents who are waiting for the discretionary place.  Above all, I hope your daughter will enjoy the school life and the learning process there.

Hi, Thomasha,
I'll give up the place at Heep Yunn Primary School,...it's really a good school and thanks god for arranging us this at the discretionary stage. At the final stage of private school P.1 seats' results announcement, god answered our pray and granted us something that we believe even more fruity.  Hope my daughter can carry the spirit of our favourite school.  "Be a knowledgeable person with strong wills and always determines to achieve. Never hesitates to share what you have and help those in need.  Life is beautiful and meaningful, enjoy every second!"
Last but not least, I sincerely hope you'll get YW offer and I'll pray for you!

Thank you for your good wishes and prayers.  I'm sure your prayers have been answered so that you received that offer.

I am keeping my fingers crossed too.  If YW accepts my son, another series of change and challenge will happen to us (e.g. possibly moving to another area) - I can only hope for the best!

YW is many parents' dream school. It worths for moving.
