如住#41校網, 有幸有英華offer, 會否放棄參加大抽獎

時間性我已唔記得, 不過覺得有d忟.... 除非41網有唔係得一間你會讀既學校, 如果唔係, 萬一派唔到你心儀既學校, 又花錢花時間去搬, 我個人覺得唔值.

你可以留意下ls/kts既升中資料，aps我有留意開，09年有~97%入英中，而10年有95%，中中入面，有d仲係band1既(王少清、匯基)，只有5-7%入band2中學，所以派位係派得好好。

個人認為宣小真係不錯既選擇, 校風純, 成績好. 當年我放棄學位時, 都好唔捨得.

my friend lives in net 41 and she did not lucky draw and went to YW last year. Not beacsue of the risk factor, in fact, she likes YW more than LS, therefore, she did not need to struggle. Please remember, the culture of YW and LS is very different, maybe it's better for you to think it carefully which school more suitable for your son.

But I know some people who are really those hardcore traditional top school fans and they buy-in very much the style of LS, if you are this case, then go for lucky draw law.

41網不嬲都係重災區, 當然中獎既人唔少, 但失望既更加多
唔知點解 , 41網特別多學生, 多到唔夠派, 要借埋隔離網D位, 可知競爭幾激烈, 學樓上話齋, 已經食出7番都唔要仲等自摸多一番??!! 睇樓主心態喇

But all my friends at 41 got good lucky draw results to LS and Maryknoll, or go to Holy Family..

Their strategies:

Reserve seats at APS and Kowloon Tong Primary school or SFS or good hope or CKY, the go for lucky draw...

Do you means that you are not living at net 41 but gonna to move there before the 2nd round drawing?
if so, the new prove of address must be ready before the submit of your application at Jan 2011.
April......definitely tooooooo late!!!!

雖然YW不是我杯茶, 但如果我是你, 我也不會博, 因為LS實在太難抽.除非在confirm YW 前你有其他offer,i.e.APS, SFA..

LS comparable to DBS, Marynoll
YW comparable to TSL, St Margret, not even comparable to Kowloon Tong Primary school..

唔係好明why有d家長, 又要考直資, 到有offer或者將快有offer又攞攞鬈要唔要好, 又唔想放棄大抽獎.

其實考得直資都預左要放棄大抽獎, 一定要諗定如果心水間直資收左, 一接受左offer交左留位費, 就要放棄自行甚至大抽獎, 除非係自行抽唔到, 而有d心水直資係年初先接受報名既, 而你唔想再等大抽獎, 都可以博一博去報名.

如果一心諗住大抽獎, 請申請私校, 仲要申請一d肯俾你去大抽獎再考慮仲要唔要佢既私校.

我有同感, 另外, 比我會揀英華, net 41 太hit la, 既然你都有 band 1 既 DSS 收, 學費又唔貴, 又有一條龍...點解仲諗咁多.
