SSCPS Second Interview

My kid attended the 1st interview on 10/10 too, and we still haven't rec'd any feedback too.

Oh, my typo mistake, it shoudl read "SSCPS offer the 2nd interview chance for ALL...", not SPCC.

Of course, we cannot deny the chidlren at 'XX ' are very smart and which is worth to give the 2nd interview chance.

So thomas your son is as bright as the "XX" kids that can have the 1st round 2nd interview.  I still love this school very much and hopefully can get the chance in 2nd round.

Good luck to your child!  

My son is a bit reserved and not very outspoken.  His only advantage is probably not being nervous in front of teachers or principals when asked questions.

Just called the school. The staff said that they won't send out the letters in rounds. As soon as the principal passes the names of the candidates for 2nd interview to them, they will send out the letters. Moreover, they are not sending out the letters according to the 1st interview date. A little bit relieved for me...

Those who have received the letters/calls for second interview, please indicate if you live on HK Island / Kowloon side / NT side.

I have a gut feeling that only HK side students got the invitation for second interview.

It's always advisable to call the school for doubts about interview arrangements.  For one of the schools (not SSCPS), because of their lack of transparency in the interview notification dispatch and calling arrangements, I have called them more than 5 times within one month to obtain useful information and clarifications.  I just wonder how hard it is to add a few lines in the "news and events" section of their web sites indicating when they start and finish sending interview notifications, when they start and finish calling eligible parents, etc.  It is not a lot to ask from the school and it can relieve parents' worries and anxiety considerably.

HK Island here.  

I doubt whether the school has special preference to Island residents.  The quality of the children counts more.

3 of my freinds' boy all have the 2nd intervew; 2 HK, 1 Kowloon.

Received letter from SSCPS today. I live on HK side. 2nd interview at the end of November. Very happy. This school is our first choice.

I received the letter for second interview too by end Nov 2010. So thankful to the Lord. I live in NT.
Any ideas what the format of the second interview will be?

It's my pleasure to help others within my limited ability.  The process of helping others helps me too, as I would be "forced" to do my part of the homework in searching for information.
