CKY學費咁貴又沒正式有公開試成績..

講左１２年普通話－－相信連最差的一個，講普通話都唔會有問題。小兒中文較弱，講左五年後返大陸旅行，都是由他作翻譯。
讀同寫－－對於祇喜歡看英文書的學生，相信讀同寫會較遜，但小學安排了額外的補課，已有所幫助。中學會否有補底，我暫時不太清楚。至於，那些喜歡看中文書的同學，水準一點也不賴！

but 以HK$5,000 - 7,000/per mth 既學費, 點解唔揾返老牌 e.g St. Stephen's college.. or internation school e.g 蘇浙 & sis etc 有中文學既學校.***

聽聞就是有學生因cky沒有往績，所以選了蘇浙，看到以下成績......

凡事二面睇有得必有失,並沒有兩全其美的.睇昨天生果日報頭條,個仔夠讀得書多,做埋醫生又如何?
本人認為最緊要小朋友讀得開心,唔通讀國際學校既小朋友會唔識野咩?香港填鴨式教育,其實有咩係會終生受用?本人認為語言較為實際.而CKY學費貴與不貴則見人見智.

大多數醫生都是有學識兼有人格的，所以不用太悲觀。
CKY的學費是貴的，但也只是成本價而已。比英基，DBS和SPCE  等有政府津貼的還要便宜呢！

It is important to remember that the school fee could be even higher (>$5000), if they confirm to run the IB program. It's what the school told the applicants during the second interview last year.

Having said that, I would say that CKY has a perfect language learning approach for kids. I have no doubt that kids can master Chinese, Mandarin and English well in CKY.

Is it really a perfect language learning approach?  As far as PTH is concerned, most of the PTH teachers are not natives (not sure whether there is any native in CKY), the PTH learning environment cannot be perfect.  I cannot forget what I saw when I went to the open day in April - the boys and girls who was on the stage in the concert hall mixed English and PTH in every single sentence, i.e. not heard anyone who could speak only English / PTH in one complete sentence.  May be the school wants to show people how the students can "manage" both English and PTH?

Correct me if I'm wrong.  The students on stage speak both PTH and English, but they don't mix the languages up in one sentence.  True that they speak one language at a time, and switch to another right away.  Generally, they can speak the two languages with confidence.

CKY is already an IB world school and the school fee has been raised. From Y 1 to Y5, monthly fee is $5400 (11 installment) and Y6 to Y11 is $7220. Y11 is the 1st year of IBD programme, the cost should be much higher, but it is still the same as Y6 to Y10, so I think the fee has been evenly distrubuted from Y1 to Y10.

They don't even mix the language up in one paragraph. Normally one talk in PTH for several sentence, then his/her partner answer with Eng. for a whole paragraph. May be in some cases they didn't, but I'd never heard before.

The case you mentioned is for primary 1 briefing session in July but not the open day in April.
