Don't be so sad and this is just the begining.  Trust your son and more good schools are waiting for him.  Agree that don't the tell your son about this result now as many interviews are coming.

I received the rejection letter a while ago too.

Just a little disappointed, but there is still a long way to go.  If you need to shed some tears, go for it.  Don't be sad for too long, because as parents we need to sort out our emotions quickly and move on to face other interviews.

As I said in an earlier post, getting a place in St Paul Boys is like winning the 2nd prize of Mark Six.  If you had not won the 2nd prize before, you need not be too upset.

唉！今晚仲要OT到9點幾，返到屋企成10,11點，我都好緊張阿仔得唔得，此終今次係佢1st in result。
我都要平常心面對。

Really thanks for all your warm support! IT's really touching.  IT's hard time for both kids and parents in these 2 months.  Add oil! I need to pick up my son now and need to hide my upset face.  Everyone: Cheer up la!

no big deal, really.  I received over a handful of rejection letters in just 1 month last year.  But at the end, very very late, got accepted by a good school.  ADD OIL!

唉！今晚OT到9點幾，返到屋企成10,11點，but husband check咗仲未有信 。知道自己个仔係叻果隻, but who know what would happen during interview… and being observe。
但做父母的, always think our kid is the best & should be accepted by any school especially those "super good school"  but the fact is....

真是好討貪玩這個爭櫈仔遊戲....但好無奈!一日音樂未停,都唔知到自己仔仔可唔可以爭到張櫈?既然置身其中,為有自我調節心態,一切以平常心去看待,不要太過介懷,把得失看得太重而影響到小朋友.

I know 10 marks has been given to those applicants who have relations to the school. Thus, the chance is comparatively slim if you don't have this 10 marks (just like me)....interview除左睇表現, 都仲要講下眼緣, 同學校有無緣份. 就算結果係點, 我都覺得囝囝做得好好

【明報專訊】畢業於名校聖保羅    書院及港大文學院的財務顧問，投身社會多年卻未能找到穩定工作，職位雖為「財務經理」，但月薪連佣金僅5000元，他為增收入，潛入學校偷課本轉售，結果身陷囹圄。

被告楊嘉傑（34歲）昨在區院承認3項爆竊罪，他更被揭在擔任私人補習教師時在學生家中偷竊，去年初被判160小時社會服務令    。

債主滋擾家人 父患抑鬱

律師昨透露，被告自98年於港大畢業後，每份工都做不長，薪金每每只得數千元，孝順的被告為免雙親擔心，仍給3000元家用，並隱瞞捉襟見肘的財政狀况。被告向財務公司及高利貸借貸，令家人受盡債主滋擾，雙親晴天霹靂，父親後來患上抑鬱症    。去年4月正式破產的被告為了多掙幾個錢，四處向中學收購舊教科書轉售，惟只得數百元利潤，最終走上歪路。

攜大鉗潛入學校

法官強調案件令人惋惜，被告受過高深教育，卻屢次犯案，雙親失望可想而知，他輕判被告入獄16個月，希望被告日後好好利用學歷重新做人，做個真正的孝順仔。

案發於黃大仙    可立中學，9名學生於去年12月發現，鎖於校內儲物櫃的34本書被竊，價值逾4000元。校方報警並翻看閉路電視，發現被告曾於有關日子在校內出現。其後，校工發現被告從後門進入校園，即通知正在校內查案的警方，被告被搜出身上有大鉗及該校學生的練習簿。
