請問有冇人讀info kins(美國史丹福大學EPGY)課程,係咪考咗個test ,就可以讀.
讀呢個課程有冇用.thank you

我個女讀到cal C 啦(即最後一級). 係考咗個test ,pass 咗就可以讀.讀呢個課程有用呀.

我個仔讀P.6 升F.1,啱啱考完個test,收咗佢讀(Garde6)咁即係幾级呀?係咪讀完一級再考升級試,如果成績好,可以跳級呢?thank you

冇跳級架,除非你暑假讀兩個課程,不過會很辛苦的.

讓我分開兩個方面說吧。

其一，要是你兒女雖是資優，卻缺乏動力，空有天分而不去行動的話，這課程應該能夠提供一個很好的協助。

這課程其實(大概)是依照美國的syllabus，而Ｇ８以後的書亦可在坊間買到。設若你子女十分好學，當然可以自己買書來學習——遇到困難，我則認為與其花６千多元去報讀這課程，不如在外請補習老師。完成了這個課程以後，亦可自行去考ＡＰ試。

但設若你子女與我女兒一樣，做事缺乏動力，讀這課程該是個不錯的打算。我女兒從小二下學期到現在升中四，差半年就完成整個課程。雖然每次做功課也是老不願意的，有時甚至連續欠交功課，但因有老師的催速，只好乖乖完成功課。另外，因有同輩的比較／切磋，便能令他有更大的動力去學習，不至在家虛度光陰。另外，每一級後的考試，可令他明白自己的不足，亦能確保他自己真的明白課程內容。

其二，要是子女空有知識，卻沒考試，報讀學校、或其他資優課程，便不能提出有力的證明。報讀這課程能取得證書，此課程認受性算是頗高，對升學該有幫助。
         

至於價錢，每級(每級半年)約六千元。

I also suggest your kids to sit for talent search competition, if they score good grades, they can use that to apply for Summer Program - Stanford Campus.

But bear in mind don't rely on Info-kids for application. They turned down my son's application because he was too young. So we applied directly to EPGY - Summer School, they are helpful and easy.

My son loved the program and really learnt alot in Stanford. Like, they played soccer using NBA rules; played tennis with volley ball rules. They are not focus on the model answer, they focus more on the problem solving process and using team approach.

As my son starts Pre-IB, he will drop the EPGY program even in Calculus stage.

我都有朋友仔讀過，好多都讀過，不過都係去讀中六課程好 d，我唸佢想考文憑試，佢個仔宜家小六。

我個仔小2已經讀數學課程. 前年已經完成晒數學CAL. 不過我到而家都唔覺得有什麼用, 你當活動IQ題好了, 如果要CERT, 我又唔覺可以快D入大學.

Besides Mathematics course, EPGY has English writing course. My son took the the W10 course last year. This year he is taking W11. I think the writing course is very good. It helps the student with analytical thinking and he learns how to express himself.
