Can MCS parents share with me the level of involvement expected of parents at the school? Are they like some of the DSS schools, where they expect the mommies to do volunteer work and show up at the school all the time etc.? I am a working mom so I am a bit worried.

無需擔心,做到就做,做唔到都無所謂.
我自己都是在職媽咪,工作時間長,假期少,但有機會仍盡量參加學校活動,做過兩年派飯家長義工,個女好開心,我自己亦覺得多了機會認識學校.

Yeah, don't worry, I'm a working mum too. The school doesn't expect the parents to show up all the time. In fact, there are already many full time mums wanting to be parent helpers but need to 抽籤.

But for sure the children will be happy seeing their own mums in the school, so I went to school a few times for story telling which is only 15 minutes in the morning before school (7:30am), so that I could go to work after. My girl was very happy and brought all her friends to listen to story.

It's all your own choice.
