請問小朋友還需在外學拼音嗎?

各位家長你好,

暑假快將來臨, 我想幫小朋友報讀坊間的拼音課程(RWI),
請問上小一後還需在外學拼音嗎? 學校課程會唔會教呢?

I think no extra course for 拼音 required
if the foundation in KG is well prepared.

咁即係學校無拼音堂啦, 係咪?

Do not worry the english in school.
School is provided good enviroment to kids.
English is best and learning ability of kid is impossible.
For the language, please care PTH and Modern Language more then english.
His classmate can watch documentary or movie without chinese bar.

Kiu-mummy,

Don't worry, phonics is part of Eng lesson from P.1 in SMC.  All students need to learn it.  

Of course, most students selected for SMC have  sound Eng foundation.  As such, most students could spend time to learn other languages in the part of Modern Language .

Yr kid will be our P.1 student?  If so, enjoy the school life there in SMC.

My son will be SMC's P.1 student, so I have so many questions want to know. Anyway, thanks all of you.
