剛剛在"商務"睇完本"fun for starters", 見裡面有listerning的questions, 但本書又冇隻CD依附著, 想問係咪要分開買??  家係download from website ga??  Thanks!

這套書應包括以上三個items, 缺一不可。

其實我覺得做 past paper 已經足夠。但如家長有好多時間同想多d親子活動，買呢套教材同小朋友一齊玩亦無妨。

但最理想是揾多一兩個同學一齊學，因爲教材中有不少問答環節 (訓練 speaking)，如果只得自己個小朋友，佢會覺得好無聊，多一兩個朋友仔，大家舉手答問題會好玩好多。另外有些遊戲環節，都是有partner至有意思。

去年，我用呢套教材和三個小朋友過了一個好開心既暑假。朋友仔在無心插柳下 (因爲係我叫佢嚟學)，考movers拿了14個盾，大家都好開心。

但如果安排唔到同其他人一齊學，只用呢套教材專攻listening都可以。不過都係個句....
其實我覺得做 past paper 已經足夠。

幾間大既書局都有賣，通常同Fun for Starters / Movers / Flyers 擺埋一齊，封面有個好大既數目字，代表 version number，要連 CD 一齊買，因爲最「值錢」都係 listening 個 part。

去年我在書展買了Flyers 6 的 past paper，應是當時最latest 的version，我都見有前幾期version 大平賣，不過買一set 都夠哂用。我年年都去 Academic & Professional 一檔買，因爲覺得佢哋 d 書齊全 d 又冇咁殘，價錢就檔檔差唔多。

另外, 可否分享一下自己教小朋友的process 呢?!  係咪應該同佢溫了spelling 先, 跟著就開始做past paper呢?!  Thanks!!

Yes, the selling price in PRC is very attractive.  But I can't enjoy it coz I cannot convince myself to visit there.

Honestly, I didn't pay special attention to "spelling".  

When my girl took the Movers test, she was already in her P.2 and she understood/could recite almost 100% of the required vocabs.

For Flyers stage, though the vocabs designated are a bit difficult than before, I think my girl understood all and could recite around 95% of them by her own.

You know better how your kid's English level is.  If s/he is too far from it, it is much better to have more revision on the word list before starting the past paper.  If the gap is small or even nil, you can go straight to the past paer.

In fact, I find that the general primary students in HK can write/read better than they speak.  I think parents should also pay attention to the "speaking" part when going through the material with their children.

My girl told me that the actual test was very similar to the past paper she had done.

BTW, if you just head for exam, just do the past paper is ok.

For Fun for XXXX, it is usually used by the centre for teaching the ...
