I have received the bulk of registration materials today.  Any mom knows -

(a) if Vic students can wear their own jacket instead of the formal light blue jacket specified by the school?  

(b) are the books in the book list used in classes at all?  Are they strictly necessary?

(c) what's the toy library?  is it worth paying $330 for it?

(b) are the books in the book list used in classes at all?  Are they strictly necessary?  No. But recommend you to buy the song book and CD. Becasue you can learn the songs and sing with your baby

(c) what's the toy library?  is it worth paying $330 for it? My baby always bring home VCD & Puzzle

Oh really!  My friend's son is studying there but she said needs to wear sports uniform once a week only.

1 sports + 2 normal uniforms were enough for me.
Sports uniform worn twice a week.

Some parents here said some teacher in certain campus told them it will automatically switch to Tirlingual in K1 ...however, if we look at their prospectus, they still maintain bilingual classes in different campus. So, this is what i am in doubt. Even for Harbour Height,  what i got from one teacher is different from another parent heard from the other teacher/principal.

What i heard from a teacher is, for trilingual class in HH, they will be transferred to CWB in K2 while Bilingual class will saty in HH for K2 and K3. This is consistent with what i read from the different opening of Tri/Biling class in different campus.

While some parents here said some campus allow automatic transfer from Trilingual to Bilingual .... So, maybe different campus have different arrangement.

Even for HH, a teacher told a parent here that all  will be in Trilingual when K1 ...so, it's again a different verson ...But, anyway, I think they will entertain request for transfer if there is vacancy

May i ask those successful PN applicants how many school days they offered to you? I heard the school likes to split to 2 or 3 days, any 5 days ?

will there be a lot of students transferring to international schools' reception year by K2?  or most victoria parents prefer local stream?

Just feel wonder why are you so concern about whether bilingual or trilingual?
To my understanding, bilingual may means (Eng + PTH) or (Eng + Cantonese).
What I've received the memo last year (ask me to pay deposit for promotion from PN to K1), was that K1 would switch to trilingual anyway, no matter which campus.
If your child is already admitted to HH, I think you can feel relax on this issue, HH is trilingual. (even other branches may be not, to your perspective)

My kid was admitted to two-day class and I have asked the school's advice.  One sch uniform and one sportswear should be enough for us.
