聽障兒童的網站, 外地有很多, 如...
美國的: http://www.johntracyclinic.org/
台灣的: http://www.chfn.org.tw
澳洲的:http://www.hearandsaycentre.com.au/

香港, 卻未有一個專為聽障兒童的網站...

香港的家長, 一般對弱聽、助聽器、人工耳蝸、腦幹植入、特殊教育、融入教育的認識都很參差。尤其是新的家長，很多時都會很迷網...再加上政府及私家的專家意見經常不一致...更加令家長頭痛, 不知帶小朋友去那兒才好。

其實大家想不想有這樣的一個網站呢?
若有的話, 大家想網站有什麼內容呢?

Totally support!

A common place to share and acquire knowledge is very important!

Few topics that I would like to have in this platform are as follows:

* comments from parents on services provided by public / private sectors

* support provided by kindergartens / primary / secondary schools for hearing impaired students

* problems encountered by parents at different stages

要家長自願寫番佢地覺得各個地方的教法及感受如何!!

If possible, I hope there is a topic to invite some bigger child/teenager or audit to share their experience at school or work. Any problem they face, how to fix.....

It will also be nice if we can have comparison on hearing aids from different brands, and feedback and comment on different hearing aids.

我都諗過可以起一個facebook的群組。
不過不是每一個家長都會有facebook, 而且大家未必會想比人睇到大家o既資料, 包括姓名, 相片等等。

Name and Photo should not be an issue. They can decide not to use their 'real' name and can use whatever photo as their profile picture. The most important thing is we have a place to share!
