my baby is 0912 !!!  will also apply for PN in the coming Sept.  As far as I know, only Victoria admits small B at the age of 1 yr 8 mth. Others only admit kids at age 2. So, in my case, if I apply in the coming Sept. and BB will join in Jan. 2012 if the school admits him.

總括黎講所有09年9-12月出生既bb, 如果諗住讀N1既話, 就應該先打電話去自己心儀既學校問番收生既情況, 因為間間收生既標準都會唔同, 而我想報果間今年9月已經接受報名, 出年(2011)10月就可以返學.

I checked with Kingston International School about its playgroup, the lady said for babies born in Dec. 2009, they may join the Aug 2011 intake.  

However, the a.m. classes for Aug 2011 are already FULL!!!

Don't be upset la.  You know, I was meant to give birth (C-section) on 1 Jan.  but then baby chose to arrive one day early.  At first, I was really upset as I wanted him to be a Big B but now he is the smallest B.

As I said in the Dec Mom forum, our babies actually have two chances, they can join kindergarten in 2012 or 2013 ...

Add Oil ar :)  Our babies chose their birthday ma!!

I feel very unhappy that my baby born in Dec seems like "it is wrong"!!!!! So unfair!!!! ...

I don't think they would discriminate 2009 small B la.  As long as our babies can perform well in interviews.
Like Pui Ching Kindergarten, it clearly states that they won't accept small B, so if 2009 small b want to apply, have to wait for one year.

I just attend a seminar tonight about developing babies' sensory system etc.  The instructor is very experienced in the pre-school sector.  He also advised that we should wait for a year as many good schools do not take small B, mainly beacuse small B have not yet developed well for learning etc.

In another post, you mentioned u are not targeting for Victoria for K1.  I suppose if you can find other good schools offering playgroup or PN, then no need to choose V.  Nevertheless, V has its reputation.  It may be an advantage to put V under ' current school' in our application form for K1 ... just my personal view :)
