Repeat P.1 in another school

Do the DSS / Private primary school accept current P.1 students to apply their new P.1 ?

Meaning that if my kid is doing P.1 in a primary sch / international sch now, can he apply P.1 next year in another DSS / Private schools -- ie repeating P.1 there if he is successful.

I'm thinking when should i let my kid "repeat" as he's a small kid.

無問題你可以申請, 我女小一時都有個同學係REPEAT小一轉校的
不過想唔想/需唔需要又係另一問題了

Yes ... I'm still struggling .... I always afraid that small kids will have disadvantage in winning a place in good private n DSS pri sch
