i KNOW ITS GOING TO BE  A GROUP INTERVIEW FOR AROUND 30 MIN. aNYBODY KNOW HOW WILL THE INTERVIEW BE CONDUCTED AND WHAT WILL THE BABIES ASKED TO DO.

Any need for the baby to speak?

We will attend the morning session.

Anyone know if it is a must to attend the Parents' Meeting?  Would this affect the interview result?

just like the playgroup including teacher 's singing a song, telling the stories.......etc and those teacher will c the babies reaction ... no need to prepare anything take it easy.....

How many applicants they have? How they can spare 30 mins per group?

I am in the pm session of Harbour Heights. Managed to talk to last year parents last night. It should be around 10 min. Babies may be asked to give some toys and take some gifts from the teachers. But you know some babies are afraid to take things from the teachers.

I understand the parents sessions are not mandatory this year.

Today's interview is very smooth under very good arrangement.

Each group has six babies and interview lasts for 25 min.

1. Play toys around the table and teacher may come to play with or talk to individual baby. this last for 10-15 min
2. English teacher do story telling for around 5 min. with some cloth animals.
3. Music time. Each baby is asked to come to teacher to get the musical toys and is asked to say thank you in chinese. And then play music and dance, then stop, then dance and raise hands and turn body around and march. Then babies are asked to return the toy to teacher.
4. Teacher has four finger animals on one hand and ask babies to choose one. Then say bye-bye.

Overall I feel it is very structured and give enough time for babies to warm up. The interview is also comprehensive and require the baby to speak at certain points. There is also English and Chinese sections.

Anybody has other comments on today's interview?
I went for the one in Harbour Height in this pm.

What happened on the parent's meeting which I did not join?

GAT，你的小朋友今日狀況如何？跳舞這part ok 嗎？唉玩具及講故事這2 parts 都不過不失，但音樂跳舞就衰了，他不肯跳，實不取錄了，我很失望，因我都很喜歡這校，唉....

我去左何文田, 小朋友interview只有玩玩具時有中文老師同小朋友傾計, 然後跳完舞收玩具係中文老師叫收, 另外全部係外藉老師的.
我今日叫左老公入去parent session, 我老公話個老師係english teacher head, 有mark分數(約有5項有1-5分數的). 其實我去到reception登記時, d老師問我去唔去, 俾我的感覺都似乎係"有分別"的, 本來都諗住睇情況, 果刻就填左會去了.

我今日都係去何文田, 個arrangement都十分滿意, 覺得個個老師都好nice & 有heart, 例如開始前會先問下家長平時在家怎樣叫小朋友(即係有冇乳名) 才跟小朋友打招呼, 雖然好小事, 但令我覺得有一份尊重. 而story time and music time 的外籍老師亦十分親切, story都講得好生動. ai...真係同km那次差天共地!!! (大家都係story time同music time, 但老師有冇heart 真係會令成件事好唔同!) 我阿b 表現唔太好, 冇咩反應, 不過就愈in愈喜歡呢間學校...

BTW, 我見in完老師俾的那張通告上寫每間分校的名額張貼在學校的notice board 上, 請問有冇人知何文田收幾多人呀? Thanks

的確victoria個arrangement真係非常好, 而且一個課室有成5-6位老師, 見5-6位小朋友, 我覺得係睇得好清楚, 我見一有小朋友俾左d反應(好或壞), 幾個老師就立刻寫寫寫, 其實個情況都幾好笑的. 我個囝玩具果part表現唔好, 無反應又做錯, 好彩有收拾玩具補番d分... 一去到storytime同跳舞就好好, 有出聲又有動作, 都俾85分佢啦. in完之後, 我真係一身都鬆晒, 因為由10月至今... 終於都in晒啦!

我都係去何文田果間, 唔知點解, 我哋果間房只得4個小朋友in, 我覺得我哋果間房d老師麻麻地... 而且當時都冇咩理過我個仔, 我見有中文老師同其他家長講嘢, 問佢哋平時邊個照顧小朋友之類 (但問卷已經填咗啦, 都要問?), 而個小朋友就自己玩玩具.

但冇老師走埋嚟問過我同個仔... 後來先至有一個外籍老師埋嚟同我個仔講嘢, 考佢玩玩具, 仲要隔咗成半張枱, 我個仔都聽唔清佢講咩, 我要o係旁邊講多次, 而且個過程好短. 不過除咗呢樣之外, 我都好滿意佢哋interview嘅安排, 係有條理有系統!

至於parents' meeting我冇去, 因為我問過佢只係俾個機會家長發問, 唔係一定要出席... 如果toffeenut所講話佢哋會mark分數的話, 咁即係會計埋入去interview個成績度? 如果係咁, 我會對學校好失望, 因為佢講到明只係一個Q&A, 唔係compulsory, 咁對其他冇出席嘅家長咪好唔公平 (無論個家長o係meeting嘅表現係好或唔好)?

不過算啦, in咗咁多間我都知間間學校都有唔妥善唔公平嘅地方, 都要遵守遊戲規則!! 而家總算大功告成, 得唔得都唔到我哋控制啦!

我有去個meeting,大概少於半小時,但成12個家長一組,加上校長每次回應都講好耐所以根本不是每個家長都有機會發言,而我嗰組就只有兩至三個家長發過言,同埋我唔見校長mark分,所以我估個meeting係唔計分的。

好多人都話parents meeting唔計分. 我朋友個女舊年去in, 父母都冇join parents meeting, 但女兒都入左vic. 所以今年我都冇join呀.

咁我老公都話睇唔到佢份表d項目係乜, 只見每項都有1-5, 似人地問卷, 十分滿意/滿意/不滿意... 果種. 而我老公係8號課室, 係每位家長輪流發言(由1-11號). 聽落同你地講既係有d分別....
