interview的時候, 都以為囝囝表現不錯, 老師問的問題都正確回答, 但到現在都未收到信, 原來大仔都未必得.

interview時，只問我平時邊個湊小朋友、放假帶小朋友去邊度玩、小朋友鍾意玩什麼? ... 我都係如實回答 ... 公公婆婆湊、平時放假返playgroup, 去公園玩,帶bb睇多d四周的事物、bb平時鍾意玩自己d kitchen toys, 看圖書和聽音樂。
其實是些很普通的答案，這些問題都是想了解小朋友平時係點啩。

btw, 真係唔知學校是否會consider父母點樣答?! ...

jdhwangmom , 你唔好怪自己啦....其實kcs咁多人apply，學位有限，你的小朋友未必係in得唔好喎....
不如聯絡學校，看看是否有waiting list啦...

我見個路線圖有8頁，港島東、中、西都有，但唔覺眼有南區，我諗你要打去學校問校車部啦！

其實收唔到信都唔駛甘唔開心呀,因仲有好多好學校嘛,可能我地d媽媽覺得呢間好,但可能阿b未必鐘意係度讀呢,最仲要係阿b返得開唔開心嘛,努力努力

Different people have different answer to your question re safety.  To me, safety is my big concern, thus, I have my helper go to school with my girl every day instead of school bus.  But many mums do let their children ride on the school bus since Ｎ班.  For instance, around 10 students in my girl's last year PN class went to school by school bus.

One reason maybe they don't have too much spare resources, second reason is they trust in the 褓姆.

My daughter has been admitted by So Chit Pre-Nursery for PM Class and Waterloo Road Cannan at Kowloon Tong for Full Day Class.
We are living at the Kowloon side.

Is it worthwhile for us to travel much longer to study at So Chit?

Further, I know that So Chit is taught by English and Mandarin only.
So, if my daughter is only talking in Cantonese (no English or Mandarin) at home, is it very difficult for her to study at So Chit?

For Waterloo Road Cannan, it will also have 20 minutes English class and 20 minutes Mandarin class each day.

Could some experienced mother give me some opinions?

It depends on which part of Kowloon you are living and the amount of travelling time.  If the travelling time is very long taken into account the traffic jam, my personal comment to your question is: So Chit is very worth of going (given this amount of fee, especially in KG, the fee is $660 per month only after deducting the government voucher), but not worth such a long travelling if a kid is soooooo small.

But I know a number of children coming over from Kowloon side to study in So Chit.   So, it's all up to you to decide lah.  My friend who lives in Tai Po is sending her daughter to study in Qing Yee ESF KG.  Each day, 3 hours of travel for her kid.  I think it is crazy, but my friend said it is a training.  So, again, different people will have different opinion towards the same thing.

Lastly, most So Chit PN students do not speak Mandarine at home, some even do not know Chinese (as they are westerners or Korean or Japanese), so, I don't think not speaking Mandarine at all is a concern.  It is because you do not know that you are coming to school to learn mah.  For English, same theory.............no worry.  The daughter of my sister-in-law does not speak Mandarine and English  (her parents know English, just they don't speak English at home) at home, she can maser both language quite well after spending 3 years in So Chit.

Have contacted the school and they said all the letters have been sent out and confirmed by parents. Only the accepted candidate will received the letter.
