I think it's more chance to get the result on/before 19-Dec (maybe on coming Thu) cos they're starting X'mas holidays, anyway hope all of have a good X'mas "gift"! :loveliness:

To me.. I think I'll choose St Paul though two are also very good school but St Clare is a very strict forward school.

To my understanding, St Clare is a highly disciplined school. For example, if your kid write an chinese character in very a bit different from the formal type, they will request you to write the whole word again and again.
To me, I would not say it is not a good way to train up the kids, but more important is make them know what's wrong. Besides, I think this will discourage the kid in learning.
This is my own view only.

I would also like to vote for St. Paul's! Reasons being similar to those mentioned by other parents. Free of charge and better reputation (in my old days, but not sure now). Half day school is not a problem. Can have extra-curricular activities in the afternoon, and have family times in weekends.

Just figured out there are a number of competitive schools chosen to announce result in end of this week.................. send the letters then take the X'mas break and can't be reached.  That gives people the time to calm down and to accept reality.   

Therefore, they are going to avoid a lot of phone calls !!!!  What a strategy !

Something to add...........  they probably send letters out on Friday.  Some people may get it on Sat while other gets it on Monday.   So stay positive on Sat but move forward on Tue.

it is a pain to wait for the result.  I  couldn't sleep well last night.... hope they send out the letter earlier.

But I remember one of the current DGJS parent said, in her case, she got letter on Thur, while the official day for the annoucement was on Friday and some got the letter on Sat. And the official date stamped on the letter was on that Friday.
That means may be the letter will be sent out on Wednesday..though this may not apply for this year.
