I went to the I formal visit in tsing yi esf yestarday. The principal said they are only invite CAT 1 for informal visit. I guess there are too many CAT 1 to apply and not all CAT 1 can be invited

Your kid is on waiting list.....
I talked to some parents attended 'informal visit' and their letter also said waiting list.

Maybe those who attend 'informal visit' in the morning are offered places.
While afternoon 'informal visit' are for those on the waiting list.

You have had /will have play visit. Do you mind to tell me if you kid is belong to Cat. 1? I think my kid is belong to Cat.2 and no letter is received from ESF.

She's CAT 1 as she can only speak English + my hubby studied esf before + born overseas. I guess that's why she has priority

The principal said only CAT 1 was offered the visit in tsing yi. There were 800 applicants in tsing yi and 200 letters were sent for informal visit. 170+ student will be accepted.

Hi, I'm a newcomer.  4xx applications for Tsing Yi, 2xx for Wu Kai Sha - anyone can advise the no. of applications this year for the other campuses (in Sheung Wan and Abacus)?  Can Kowloon residents apply for Sheung Wan campus and vice versa?

Just want to see the chance of getting a seat for cat 2.
