Who are on waiting list
My girl was admitted even she was on waiting list, I got call from school on 27th Nov 2009. Understand it's so nervous to wait....

Who are failed in 1st phase
My girl's classmate was failed in 1st phase but got a place in 2nd phase.

what about those were on waiting list but did not get a place in the first round? any special advantage on 2nd round?

I remembered in the parents talk the Vice Principal said 2nd phrase will not count 1st phase result, so those children who fail to get a place in 1st phase can also apply in 2nd phase, but he didn't mention whether there will be advantage for those who are on waiting list. You'd better check with the school

It depends on which factors you will consider most.

1. SFA is a catholic school and more traditional teaching style.
2. Workload is heavy, you may need more time to study with your kid at home.
3. transportation... I heard there is no school bus provided for after-school activities.
4. The English-spoken environment is more enforced in TSL.

These are what I know about SFA.

我知道校車會係一個問題 (除非係唔需要搭校車), 我鄰居嘅小朋友都係今年喺SFA讀一年級, 佢本想搭校車返學, 但因上校車嘅地方距離屋企都要成15分鐘路程 (I mean行去), 所以佢地唯有自己搭巴士返學, 每朝7:00出門口.

to be honest, any school is a good school, however, not any is the right school for "the kid".
SFA and TSL are quite different in teaching style and education method.
better prepare the pro and con base on your own child to select the right one.
the one we choose may not be the right one for your own. just take it as reference only.
personally, i will not put my son into SFA. :)

I am not yet a TSL parent, but based on the school website, there are 3 school bus routes that departs at 1645. I think those are cater for the needs of students ECA.

係有課外活動校車

, 不過唔係好似正常校車甘,只有某D大站停, 可以打電話問 : 2625-5584
