時常都聽到媽媽分享在靈糧堂幼稚園畢業的學生, 好難入到一間好的小學, 因課程太淺, 上到小一好難適應, 請問有無家長的小朋友喺香港靈糧堂幼稚園畢業, 再上小一的經驗分享, 謝謝!

不能一概而論. 哪有一間幼稚園的畢業生全是優等或全是劣等

要明白小朋友的學習態度比課程深淺來得重要. 再深的課程如缺乏學習興趣也只是起步跑得快而已. 而培養小朋友正確的學習態度也並非學校單方面的責任, 家庭教育更為重要.

小兒也是畢業於香港靈糧堂幼稚園, 現就讀傳統小學, 小一時完全沒有適應問題, 在校內還算名列前茅, 操行優良. 對此, 自問付出不少努力, 但如缺乏幼稚園的明燈指引, 今天會是另一番感受.

不想像賣廣告的多說. 作為過來人, 贈你四個字 ----- “全情投入”.  對於學校的每個課題或project, 就算是選擇性的, 都要全情投入參與, 不要敷衍了事, 得益始終會是你的孩子.

不少香港靈糧堂學生派位入了瑪利曼, 聖士提反女校, 聖若瑟, 華仁等熱門學校, 也有考入st paul co-ed, st paul boys, 赤柱聖士提反等.  這些是否”好小學”, 視乎你的要求.

our daughter也是畢業於香港靈糧堂幼稚園, 現就讀傳統小學, 小一時完全沒有適應問題, 在校內還算名列前茅, 操行優良. she is very happy in this kindergarten, our daughter p.4 now- but she is still say go to the kindergarten to do the small teacher to help.

our daughter before study in this  kindergarten .
she study in wan chai st.francis school(traditional school) i dont think they are weak in p.1. our daughter in p.1 can get top 4 in the class . so no need to worried about that , our daghter now p4 the result very good in every year. because this kindergarten need the chirld do anything by self so i feel this school in very good and happy

喧嘩

俾我返轉頭我就一定唔會選活動教學俾個女, 考名私校真係唔夠人爭, 不過又因為咁, 俾亞女入左間基督教(佢好鐘意, 因為幼稚園影響), 課程唔係太深, 都算幾好的私校, 佢超鐘意lee間小學, 佢返學返得好開心, 成日問我點解以前唔俾我讀lee間小學的幼稚園, 佢話靈糧幼稚園d 嘢好無聊, (佢係一個好多嘢講, 好鐘意玩, 好多同學爭住同佢玩, 老師年年梗有一次搵佢做小mc, 估唔到原來係我自以為適合佢, 原來係唔適合佢)所以其實最緊要係適合你小朋友, 每個小朋友都唔同, 間學校適合亞a, 未必適合亞b
仲有, 上小學跟唔跟到都好睇個父母, 亞女幼稚園未默過書, 啱啱第一次用普通話默中文, (都唔淺), 都攞到100分

Hi 喧嘩,

thanks for your sharing.  Yes, u are right, different kids has different character.  i'm happy to hear that your daughter entered a good school and got a good mark for dictation!  Which mean LLC can link up P1.  And also due to that big comparsion , your daughter knows what school style is suitable for her and thus she loves to study as well as happy to go to school in P1 now, that result is not bad she had graduated in LLC.  

my daugther is a small girl (year end birth) and she is quite passive, so at the beginning, i selected this school and hope she can be more active and open.  And now, she speaks more and likes go to school everyday.  

However, when i'm thinking of about P1, many parents shared that LLC is difficult to "link up" with P1, i have a bit worry.  After some of mama shared here, now i think my worry is over.  i think a good school is not only focus the acadamic, but also the kids' manner and personal development.  I like this school because it is a chistian school, which can bring the message of what is love, patient, forgive in God etc.

Hi Wisekid,

Would u please share more about your view?  is it you have a bad experience from this kindergarten? thanks for your sharing in advance.

Hi Wisekid,

thanks for your details sharing.  i agree your points that since i has visited the class recently.  the teachers really can't take care of all students.  however, base on the educational guideline, the prorata between teachers and student is 1:15, i just wonder is it all the kindergarten also has such problem?  btw, can you tell me which school of your son switched to? Also, you switched to another kinder after easter holiday (which means second terms had not yet completed), school would accept 插班生?

Firstly I have to state clearly that 香港靈糧堂幼稚園 is not a bad school. It is just not up to my high expectation and it can only be classified as a mediocre kindergarten.
