when will the 2nd interview start?

Just interested to know that - in the 1st interview, I saw a lot of parents dressed up well (with suite and tie for daddy and skirt/suit/make-up for mommy) and also with both daddy & mommy attended.  Although parents are not interviewed in the 1st round interview, parent is required to go inside a room with a teacher for document checking.  I just wonder if the attendence from both parents and nicer appearance will also count?

If not, why so many parents dress-up / make-up / with both parents' attendence as if they were required for interview?

On that day, I only wore very very casual wear (jeanes + T-shirt) ......and only me to accompany my child to attend the interview.....

I also got this observation but maybe 1. those parents need to go to work afterwards and no time for them to change clothes or 2. it's their normal/typical wearing..

I found it quite normal and I don't think the outfit of the parents would be taken into account at the 1st interview.

No worries la, I also dressed very casual.  Interview is for kids only & not for us.

Funny is that, I saw a lot of parents in formal dressing,  but their kids with T-shirt, shorts & sport shoes......

How about the books that the kids are given to read, Chinese or English?

Yes It has to be Cantonese as it is a chinese school, although you may request to have the interview in another language but you need to specify your preference upon your arrival.

Do anybody give the picture of principal to your son/daughter to see? How do they know the interviewer is principal or teacher? Also, vice principal and principal are also called "principal" in chinese. I think children cannot be deferentiated between both of them

According to application procedure, the result will be announced in late Nov. But not mention about 2nd interview...

last year, second interview letters started coming out in late Oct. Somewhere around 23rd Oct.

As mentioned by the teacher , the interviewer should be the Principal.  My son said he has given the picture to see.

the teacher also told me that  the principal is going to interview with my son. but my son said there are two interviewers. one is principal and one is a teacher. and said the interviewer is young. she is teacher. So I am???????
how can I get the pictures of the principal, vice princpal or the teacher???

yes, i saw a stand there. but i haven't seen the magazines as i just looked at the students there.  it was lunch time.  
My son said the teacher is young and like a foreign people with curly hair. do you think she is the principal?

The principal is short hair old lady. We have checked with our daughter just after the interview and she can point to the picture of principal inside the book on the stand outside the interview room. We have double checked with her will the interviewer be other 2 Vice Presidents show inside the book and she said no and point to the principal again.
