請問你們除了多功能外套之外, 有沒有買校樓? 上次我去買冬季校服時, 那裡的小姐說沒有校樓, 所以我沒有買, 後來出了學校通告, 才知原來是有校樓的...

I bought the muti-purpose wind breaker. Not bad. There are two layers which you can remove one when it is not cold.

I only buy the wind breaker like FM.
I think it is much warmer and practical then 校褸.

Apparently only those will receive award on stage need to wear 校褸. I hope I'll need to buy it in future! :)

I also just bought the wind breaker+ fleece coat. But my kid said he will not wear either of them if the temperature doesn't drop below 12C. I really don't get the point why the school have to keep the limit to 12C...
I am wondering if they are allowed to wear the classic coat even it is higher than 12C.

You can wear the fleece jacket when temperature is higher then 12c, and wear the windbreaker together with the fleece when it's below 12c. As for 校樓, you only need it for special performances such as choir, orchestra etc. Try to see if you know any parents from upper grade that can pass you an old one from their kids. Most kids won't wear it more then 5 times before they out grow it so should be fairly new. The windbreaker and the fleece jacket is much more comfortable for the kid.

Does anyone know why the kids do not need to order lunch in Jan (they only need to order lunch for 4 days only)?

Good question...the first term exam dates are from 8th -14th Jan....assuming that they will leave school early for those days....but how about the rest of the days in Jan....

1/18-29 --- 期考後活動週 --- 全校返半日學

anyone here can help to send me the booklist of P.1?  I wish to apply the P.2 for my kid and therefore need to prepare the entrance examination in advance as all of you know that the syllabus of SPCC will be more difficult than other schools.

please let me know if you are willing to help me as i really wish my kid can study at this school.

Frankly speaking, knowing the book list doesn't help much cos the school mainly use worksheets for teaching materials and assignments.

Just be 平常心 to try your kid's ability.

hi all soon to be P2 parents,
Just wondering, did you notice that this year's booklist has no 作業 for both Chinese and 常識? Is that correct or we are supposed to get them anyway?

You don't need to get those 作業.
The school is relying less and less on 作業, and more on worksheets.
