我仔仔今年2歲9個月, 係學校時常座唔定, 有多野講, 有時會失控尖叫.....有沒有媽咪可介紹有關評估中心??????

嘜太太,

政府智能評估, 是否人人都可以去做? Could u pls. send it to me or post it on here?  因亞囝係屬於AD/HD, 但排政府要等1年幾才到佢, 所以唯有硬着頭皮去睇私家, 但都幾貴。

等政府真係有排,不如你打去小童群益會,佢地有轉介服務,我都約左十一月去做專注力不足同過度活躍,首次初診1000,無藥食都沒有治療,係睇下仔仔有無呢方面問題,如果有,就會寫紙轉介其他專科 ...

Could u tell me how to make an appointment with 小童群益會 to do d test for 專注力不足同過度活躍 n I heard that can be found out from blood test.  Do they ask yr child to do a blood test?

我個女成日都係周身郁, 我問過健康院姑娘&兒科醫生, 我個女會唔會有過度活躍症, 佢哋都叫我唔使誓心, 就算要做test最少3歲先可以做.

網上搵到啲資料, 希望和我有同一樣擔心嘅媽咪睇完有啲幫助.

如果你的孩子…
1.        是否較同年齡的活躍,經常走來走去,甚至到失控地步?
2.        是否曾經因為亂跑亂撞而弄傷身體?
3.        是否對其他人的指示經常很快便忘掉,短期記憶較差?
4.        是否處事衝動,喜愛追求即時的刺激,但又缺乏耐性?
5.        容易混淆地方、時間、日期
6.        是否由於過份大情大性,常常衝動行事,而造成其他孩子不太願意跟他們做朋友?

以上有關專注力缺乏/過度活躍症只供家長參考,若果孩子表現出3個或以上的行為特徵,那家長最好盡是安排專業人士為孩子作個別評估。

Diagnostic Criteria for ADHD

Hi mums,

see if this is useful to faciliate your understanding of your child's behavioural problems:

A. Either (1) or (2):

(1) 6 (or more) of the following symptoms of inattention have persisted for at least 6 months to a degree that is maladaptive and inconsistent with developmental levels:

Inattention

(A) Often fails to give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, work, or other activities.
(B) Often has difficulty sustaining attention in tasks or play activities.
(C) Often does not seem to listen when spoken to directly
(D) Often does not follow through on instructions and fails to finish schoolwork, chores, or duties in the workplace (not due to oppositional behaviour or failure to understand instructions).
(E) Often has difficulty organising tasks and activities
(F) Often avoids, dislikes, or is reluctant to engage in tasks that require sustained mental effort (such as schoolwork or homework).
(G) Often loses things necessary for tasks or activities (e.g., toys, school assignments, pencils, books, or tools).
(H) Is often easily distracted by extraneous stimuli.
(I) Is often forgetful in daily activities.

2. 6 (or more) of the following symptoms of hyperactivity-impulsivity have persisted for at least 6 months to a degree that is maladaptive and inconsistent with developmental level:

Hyperactivity

(A) often fidgets with hands or feet or squirms in seat.
(B) often leaves seat in classroom or in other situation in which remaining seated is expected.
(C) often runs about or climbs excessively in situations in which it is inappropriate ( in adolescents or adults, may be limited to subjective feelings of restlessness)
(D) often has difficulty playing or engaging in leisure activities quietly
(E) is often "on the go" or often acts as if "driven by a motor"
(F) often talks excessively.

Impulsivity

(G) often blurts out answers before questions have been compleated.
(H) often has difficulty awaiting turn.
(I) often interrupts or intrudes on others (e.g., at school or work and at home).

B. Some hyperactive-impulsive or inattentive symptoms that caused impairment were present before age 7 years.

C. Some impairment from the symptoms is present in two or more settings (e.g., at school or work and at home).

D. There must be clear evidence of clinically significant impairment in social, academic, or occupational functioning.

E. The symptoms do not occur exclusively during the course of a Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Schizophrenia, or other Psychotic Disorder and are not better accounted for by another mental disorder (e.g., Mood Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Dissociative Disorder, or a Personality Disorder).
