DBS 今年中學會考考生人數是208人，不是234人。去年尖子人數不少於十六人。

各BK友好似乎愈說愈忘形，愈來愈 off topic.

樓主開此post 的用意是多搜集 SPCC 的用家資料以分析此校是否適合其兒女就讀以便作決定或心理準備。

說實話，好學校各人定義不同，有人視學業成績至上；有人重視學校校風培養學生良好品格；有人特別關注師生關係、學校支援；亦有人注重校舍大小等硬件設施...... 好學校多的是，何止這三兩間！

聖保羅男女今年會考沒有學生能摘10A是事實，但似乎跟這topic 無關...

小朋友今年將升讀中二,每次問學校生活,答案都是:"開心!!愉快!!"兩位班主任都非常好,試前一個月更與小朋友一起制作溫習時間表,同學間不論是小學直升/他校轉來都相處融洽,一起溫書一起遊戲.

唯一投訴是飯盒供應商的質素真是麻麻,雖有投訴,幸好小朋友都會正面來看:是來學習,不是來吃飯!! 只是小事一樁.

無論甚麼學校,到高中會都很多"拍拖"的事件.同前述一樣,好成績是bonus,最重要是全人發展.過了一年,十二分滿意

我是SPCC的學生, 所以學習環境如何, 我是頗清楚的.
雖然SPCC今年沒有10優生, 但是學習是為了什麼? 大家有否聽過「求學不是求分數」這句話? 我小學的校長曾對此話發表「偉論」, 我也十分認同他的話, 他作出更改,道:「求學不只是求分數。」成績雖重要,但除了分數以外, 其他東西, 如:學生的對讀書的看法, 便不用理會了嗎? 不是. 相信各位一定認為這比成績重要吧~

還有, SPCC已經是一所頗好的學校了, 希望入到的同學仔會像我般好好珍惜, 給了你這機會是一種緣分, 放棄了便後悔莫及~
生活中，很多東西是可遇不可求的，
家人，朋友，伴侶沒有一樣是必然的，
健康，快樂，幸福是金錢也買不到的，
能夠相遇已經是一種緣份，
懂得珍惜看似很俗套 ，
失去的時候才後悔或許已經太遲，
珍惜在你生命中的每一天。

希望各位BK友, 不論大朋友/中朋友/小朋友會明白這表面簡單, 可是意思深遠的道理---其實懂得知足, 是領悟幸福的開始...

我想聽完aumaymay的話後, 應該大家都完全明白SPCC的特別之處, 點解不是常常有十優生, 也是很多家長和學生的 Dream School 了.

很多謝各位ｓｐｃｃ的家長及同學，從你們的分享令我多了很多ｓｐｃｃ的資料，並很希望小兒有幸成為ｓｐｃｃ的一份子。

I have the following questions & hope you can help to answer:

1) Those got accepted into SPCC must be very briliant with lots of achievement in different aspects, do you list them all  or just selective or just P.5 & 6?
2) My son doesn't play music but I learnt that it is a must in SPCC.  Does it mean he needs to learn one if accepted by the school？ He will then be a beginner, how does the teacher compare with other children who have learnt for years?
3) How is the school sports performance in the inter-school competition?  From the school website, it seems the school  performs fair in this area, is it the case?
4) Any parents live in Shatin?  How do your kids travel to school then?

Thanks for advising.  I need to change it to English as I type very very slow in Chinese.

From your previous note, I noticed that my son studied in the same primary school with your daughter.  She will be in F.2 in the new school year, right?  

Does she has any problem in adjusting the secondary school life?  Have you applied SPCC through Dr. Tang?

學生求學可以不是求分數，但直資辦學就要求成績。學校營運壓力有幾大? 如果再加學費妳就明。

所謂高處不勝寒，高手過招輸就要認，打就要企定。今年唔得唔緊要，下年再黎。

都係個句，做學生努力求學為先，有很多大人的事妳未必清楚及不用理會。

The students will inform the music teacher about their learning experience of musical instrument.  No worry.

Also, school provides musical instrument classes for students.  Since it's not for all students, you need to pay course fee.

Thanks all for the reply.   To be honest, SPCC is our first choice.  So our first step is to prepare the porfolio and the interview, I have the following questions & hope to have your advice again:

1)  My son has no. of awards in different academic years & different aspects, (e.g. Outstanding achievement in Maths from P.1 to P.5, ) should I list them all or just highlight those important ones in P.4 to P.5?  Should I attach all copies of certificate in the application form?  Just afraid that the portfolio is too clumsy, too many paper and unattractive for the teachers to read!

2) I understand interview part is very important and difficult in SPCC, does attend interview class help?  If yes, any recommendation for the training centre?  If no, what can I do & help him?  

This summer, my son has attended a study tour in UK, I hope he will improve in oral English, social skills, sense of responsibility and insights of different culture.  Money spent but just hope this trip will add value to his exposure!

3) If applied through the Headmaster (the Top one in the school), is chance of success higher than the general application?  

Since my son's school does not have any ranking, I have no ideas about his exact rank (I only knew he ranked first in P.3 as his form teacher told me privately).  However, from all his previous exam results,  academic awards & teachers' feedback, I know the headmaster sees highly on him and all his teachers encourage him to try the top rank school outside the Shatin net.

我也想問今天的分班結果，為什麼A,B,C班人數較多(約33人／班)，而D,E,F,G班人數只有約28-29人一班，是否一直分班都是按此比例？为什麼要這樣分配？
