民生 VS 聖約瑟（觀塘）

想問問大家意見， 邊間好D。

我自己想仔仔英文好， 但又好怕聖約瑟（觀塘）中學派得5好。

請指教， 唔該曬各位

I read from other posts that the successful candidates should have received call yesterday.  
I did not receive call.  No chance la.

My son also got a seat from St Joseph.  In my personal opinion, St. Joseph is a good school with good Eng learning environment.  However, the Kwun Tong secondary school net is not good (only 6 EMI secondary schools - 2 are boys schools, 2 are girls schools, 2 are co-ed).  So, actually, you only have 4 schools to choose from.  Students have to work very hard in order to get into these 4 secondary schools.  I think students have much more chances to get into EMI schools in Kowloon City Net.

民生都收咗阿仔,應該會係最後決定.因為有英中,玩過今次搵小學,已經怕咗.雖然有人話民中差咗,但差極有個譜,我都唔知阿仔係龍定係蟲,如果係龍遲d未試吓再好d既學校,但如果係蟲都有間英中預住.
我大抽獎派到最尾志願,原本叩番第一志願,但係深水埗校網,要考到band1學校真係要super努力,一定要入精英班,未讀,諗起我都驚.

唔好意思！我想問吓民小係中小定係英小？你哋小朋友是否民生幼稚園學生所以考到？如果唔係民幼咁機會是否好細上到民小？唔該！

因為民生較有名氣，校舍環境較好，校網也較好。
聽聞藍田聖言中學會搬遷到德望學校對面塊地皮，不知是否真的？如果是，48網可能變相少了一所英中！

民幼唔收細仔,所以阿仔唔係民幼學生,大抽獎後申請的.因為唔知佢有幾多位,幾多人申請,所以我都唔知難唔難,不過可能無dbspd, yw, sfa, aps禁難

same as you. My son is from other kindergarten, and he is also accepted. We are happy, as my husband likes its secondary connection, and I like the big school campus. We will register on this Friday.

I heard from other parents that the MS secondary school will be changed to private school. Anybody knows? Pls share.

I heard they're going to change to DSS in 2009 but I'm not sure

I phone Education Bureau this Tuesday and said they had received MS Secondary School's application for DSS. However, the application was still under processing.

In passing, have you received letter today? I received call on Monday and the clerk said I might receive letter by today. But I haven't received letter yet. Do you have the same case?

I got a letter yesterday. I believe when our kids in P6, they can change to DSS, right?! Even though they can't, that's alright becox still in Kowloon Tong net.
I do believe our kids will be very happy studying in MS, not only focus on academics, but also enjoy sports/extra curricular activities. The school can provide very decent facilities and it's not necessary they can get any prize in competitions or not.
One of my subordinates graduated in MS. He did enjoy the life in MS. Though he was not many As student, I found his EQ is very high becox his supervisor is very tough. :> I do believe he was trained by participating many sports in MS.
