Hi Babyhilary,

yes, my daughter and I are Catholic.  

Since St. Andrew is not so famous as Kln Tong's KG and not with long history, so that only very few ppl know we can chat here.

We will colllect uniform in this Sat. morning.  so excited!  By the way, really want to know what is the primary school allocation result this year?

I heard that the teachers are very nice and with kind heard but I am afraid the standard is low and less competitve when she apply P.1

how about ur daughter?

i know st andrew not that famous and popular compare with those kinder in Kln Tong, but I really want my son study at a catholic school, so I gave up kln tong kinder and choose St Andrew.

Actually I'm not living in TKO area, I choose St Andrew because I attend mass at St Andrew Church. Also heard that all teachers are nice here, but same as u, I'm worrying about the academic standard.

Have u apply other catholic kinders for ur daughter?
I have a little daughter which will attend K1 two yrs later, I'm planning to apply catholic kinders which have primary and secondary school for her. For girls, there are several good choices, but for boys, only St Joseph.

Dear BabyHilary,

My daugher has been allocated to 上幼信.  What a pity! Our kids are not classmate!  But I believe all children can have a happy school life there!

Yes, I really want my kid to study at Catholic  school.  We went for interview at SPK but fail as she is a "small bb" (born at the end of Nov, 06)  Perhaps, we will try again this year.  To be frank, really depends on luck!  Also no confidence this year.....

In my opinion, you can apply St. Joseph next year (K2).  It is no harm to hv a try.  I believe both of us want our kid hv an easier way to go to primary and secondary school.

開學4日, 感覺唔錯, 校舍環境真係好好,
校長老師嬸嬸都好nice.
囝囝適應得幾好, 暫時都冇喊,
每日都好開心咁返學。

Hi, my girl is 上幼愛班too.
She's still very happy on the 4th day.
St Andrew was our first choice and I pleased we have chosen a good KG for ourgirl. We are also lucky to have very good class teachers!
My girl told me they played in the playground yesterday so she had her energyused up. Today they played toys in the classroom so didn’t had her nap at all!*.*
My only worry was still the same; I still think 1:10 teacher/children ratio is not that ideal.

我囝囝日日都開心都唔願放學,
你囡囡點呀? 適應得好唔好?

我都覺得K1師生比例1:10似乎唔足夠,
排隊去toilet同埋上音樂室都有d混亂,
唔知係頭2日有家長陪課影響左定係點,
不過尋日去接放學, 我見多左1位老師,
可能有時會安排多1個老師幫手。

St. Andrew's 收咗收咗我囡囡係10/11下午班,但期望係上午,其實收表果日係9時開始,我10時已到(唔知係未都遲)所以比其它人報哂?會唔會留咗位比原校讀梗的弟妹,如是天主徒都有影響?

至於老師方面都聽朋友說不錯,但當日我只見2位老師及一位嬸嬸有笑容,唔知咩原因?

學校環境係我理想,小朋友會開開心心~

可能一半一半,就算早到但佢地應為唔收就唔收.咁即係多咗一個上午位,如果跟住時間果2位都pass 咁係未會比第一位先呢?

有點失望,我都唔係要求咩出名學校,見佢校舍舒服又活動教學,希望下午都收佢LA.........而家都唔知要等幾時先知WAITING有機會呀?慘LA,我仲諗我個係大女只係幫佢報兩間,雖然循道收咗交埋留位,但個心都係好想佢返到依間TIM.........

多謝你回覆呀?呀睇依個st andrew,好少媽咪上來留言...真你同個d名校不同,由幾時面試.穿咩衫.要點面試.交表收表等信佢地真係好勁呀......但比我會好辛苦.......我只係睇tko選學校都心大心細,佢地仲九龍塘d名校.........
