I confirmed with my friend her son promote to K3 this year, K2 class will have normal school hour from the 1st day .  I can save my annual leave la!

Dear all mamas, I have received the phone call from Class Teacher.  Confrimed that
1. regular class on first day of school.  2. Wed and Fri will be Sporst uniform.

Thanks, I just received call from the Class Teacher just a moment ago too.  Receive same information as you. Glad to know the K1 key teachers will go with the kids to K2 too. How about your class?

I received e-mail from the teacher, the class teacher is the same, we need to bring 8 photos on sept 1.

My girl's class only needs to bring 6 photos in school uniform.

The teachers should use e-mail notification  instead of calling the parents one by one to save time mah. For my girl's class, I actually doubt if the teachers are good at or know how to use computer, hehehe.......why I say so?......many classes in KCS have posted their class pictures in FB, but for our class, we have no class picture from school at all. A few parents have asked the teachers last Oct, the teachers said they would post, but no until now ah......so, my gut feeling or guess is they do not know how to use computer : ) My neck is very long lah waiting for my girl's class pictures........

You are still waiting for them to post the photos in FB? I already gave up this thought for long time lah.  Better for us to take photos for our kids ourselves in school :p

Yes, I am still waiting for them to honour their promise mah......I trust in teachers.......am I too naive?   Hehehe.....you remind me I still owe you the pictures I have taken for your kid in school tim.....remember keep on reminding me ah.....I am very (extremely) lazy in doing the copying job for photos.

Oh you know what, I never received any photos from Class Teacher thru email nor FB... cause the teacher typed the email address in mistake!  She put "z" as "3"!  I complained many times that I can't receive anything, but she just said "it's impossible..."

bb86, where is your son's classroom?  Would that be next to K2F which is in Room 211 (next to the Hall)?

Hahaha, everything we can imagin is possible......not talking about typo which is so common la......I start to understand the rationale behind one of the posts you have created some time ago to ask some information lah.....if you still remember which post I am talking about : )   So, you better ask other helpful mums to forward the pictures to you lah.

You so clever... hehehe Actually it is only a minor reason, there are lots of "problems" about the operation of the class... 一言難盡!!!

Oh one more day and then the kids have to return school!  Wish all the lovely boys and girls have a wonderful K2 year!!

Yeah, K2 lah, unbelievable!!! How come my girl still behaves so silly ga : )

The day she was born seems like yesterday, how come she suddenly becomes a K2 student one more day later ge???    Time flies and life is really a miracle!

Wish all our kids will have a happy K2 life...........

may i ask.
heard from other parents here that they can enroll their children to K1 (local stream) as earlier as they were born or couple years earlier? today i went to the school and submitted the application form for my daughter.  the staff said it was too early to submit the application form? may i find out what is the actual process for doing that? my daughter is 9 months old now.

I think if you want to enroll the international stream, then you should submit as soon as possible.  But for local stream, you can apply on Sept.  If your child born before 31/12/2009, you can apply on 09/2011 (for school term 2012/13).  If your child born on 01/2010 or after, then you should apply on 09/2012 (for school term 2013/14).  Local stream is not first come first serve based.
