不過維思(九龍塘)環境又逼, Reception 個職員態度又差, 2位有經驗的好的老師又放就快放產假.  收咁貴, 根本唔值!!  我上去問完都冇join.  我最後 join 左 another one.

Agree with Spidermum,
Do not go to Wise Studio and Nice Studio. I think this company is not honest and its sole intention/aim is to earn money and not to help the children to develop.
They organised those Trinity Guildhall performer cert/award to earn money from parents. Parents get the award/cert for the children, yet the children learnt nothing from the speech/performance class. My daughter and son spoke softly during the exam and the whole team of young performers (including my children) were so lost at the rehearsal and still got the awards! This is crap.

This studio totally missed the point of educating and helping children to develop their potentials. This studio even asked the parents to have their children to participate in some kind of drawing competition and have their children enrolled in their drawing lessons to learn to draw the picture for the drawing competition. The staff there even told the parents that they would teach the children to keep drawing/painting the same picture so as to memorise it for the drawing competition. Their attitude is so wrong and missed the point to help children to develop their skills, potentials and creativity. Such a poor studio. I think sensible parents should not consider.

Don't go to Learning Key (Mongkok) as well, they are also not honest and money oriented.

My kid has gone to Wise Studio in Central for the Trinity drama exam. I think the teachers there are quite serious and willing to teach my kids. They have so many rehearsals before the exam. The exam is also very serious.

I think that was quite good. Maybe it really depends on the teacher.

我覺得睇o下你點理解"小一面試班"啦! 好似會考精讀班咁, 主要係攞tips同埋學考試技巧, 至於係咪真係明白d課程內容已經係其次. 一樣道理, 上得小一面試班, 目的都係為o左面試表現好d, 如果係咁, d central 搞d必定有獎o既比賽同教小朋友畫d必定入選o既圖畫就無可口非o勒!

所以o係報呢類型o既班之前, 應先問問自己係咪想要呢d o野, 如果係就要明白佢地o既手法. 但如果唔認同o既, 就不過留番d錢學d"有益"d o既好過o勒!

ps: 好多小學校長都o係簡介會叫人"唔好"參加面試班, 因為一睇個細佬o既談吐就知道係咪做過"特訓"....

I quite agree to Geni, as every parent knows, we need portfolio for P1 application, those centres are just doing what the parents want.

Also, I quite agree that the interview class is not super but at least give "tips" on how a child can do better in P1 interview. It's better than nothing. Whether the child can make use of the "tips" they learn is another matter. Also, if you have good relationship with the teachers in the interview classes, they can usually share their experience with you.

Also, I can say, to get admitted by good P1, we cannot solely reply on those interview classes, the day-to-day learning by the child and the effort put by the parents are also important.

My daughter was born in Dec 04 and she has attended the kindergarten interview classes before the interview at that time and eventually she was admitted to a relatively good kindergarden, I can say the effort from interview class did help my child but the effort I put on her is also very very important.

i think centres that offer "interview training" are money-minded.  if we are taking one, we should choose one that's worth it.  For "Nice Studio", the environment, the attitude of the staff (who is , not caring at all), the very high fees.... and their program is just like many other centres'.  i just CAN'T convince myself that this is a good choice.

面試班需唔需要讀就好睇個家長, 不過我覺得模擬面試就好值得比小朋友參加下, 等小朋友多d經驗, 同埋了解清楚有d咩要注意.
