GSIS - relocating??

Can anyone confirm that GSIS is relocating to MOS next year?

i see long posts in the Geokids forum, and the topic of GSIS is always on top, many parents complained. Some said even parents vote down, the GSIS board has approved already, and signed contract with the school in MOS (some said is RC, but wonder why RC still has space?). I can't verify in Geokids forum as it is down now.....

So what does this mean?  Who will compromise, the school or the parents?  Are there any alternatives to this?

Good news to those who don't want their kids to move, but then it leave an question is, if the school don't renovate, how can it compete with other in the future?

Does the school need to listen to the parents?  Would they still move on to Ma On Shan regardless?

I think if you look at the issue at large, the school has the need of a larger campus.
However parents of course would not want their children to travel too far.
As someone outside GSIS, I think both sides have their merits.

BTW, for those who are interested, the RC rumours (ie, the rumours that GSIS will be using RC campus) were initiated by people with intention. They were in fact trying spread the impression that RC parents are paying all the fees and yet still have to share the campus with GSIS.

Looks like since all the admission procedures are now near the end, negative comments on RC are dying out too. Things like that happen all the time to many schools during admission time. I am so sorry to see that this time, they are using GSIS relocation plan this year as their weapon.

I don't for a second believe that GSIS will become less competitive as a result of the votes in the EGM.  A better campus is nice to have, but not essential to GSIS's success.
