A lot of piano teachers do not like Japan Piano, most of them buy Europe band.  Around $40,000 or above can buy one.  If I want to buy a new one with budget $40,000.00, do you have any idea or recommendation?  I feel Yamaha聲音較清翠, I like the sound 厚一些.  Please suggest.

why don't you try KAWAI?
it's a lot cheaper than YAMAHA, but the quality is the same, and the sound is softer and thicker. i think YAMAHA's sound is too sharp, doesn't sound good to me

What model of kawai equivalent to Yamaha U1 series? Yamaha is far too expensive and not worth. I visit Tomlee yesterday, U1 costs around $44000. I try a brand called Osttetin.  The sound is similar to Yamaha and the sales said that it is made in Korea. Do you have any information for it?

我星期日都有去太古的tomlee, yamaha u1好似係有$5000現金折扣,(一次付款?!)唔使$44,000.至於'ottostein'佢放左三部係度,但個sales話indonesia做,korea做的無show出黎,我都有考慮買呢隻牌子,但indonesia做,唔知得唔得呢?

I found several Petrof pianos in Tomlee, and they are all more expensive than Yamaha !

is Petrof piano suitable for HK's wet and hot climate ?

I seldom know HK people use Petrof and why it's not as popular as  Yamaha ?

i agree with charlottemama, the sound of Petrof is quite good, but too expensive, the lower price around hkd40,000.

How about Toyama?  It is the cheapest one(under $20000) in Parsons', is there are anyone know whether it is good or not?
