Could you tell me the meaning of ONES ?

Which jackets do you want ?  
( 2 long jackets / 2 short jackets )

Answer :  I want the long ONES .

ONES is just one of pronouns being added a letter "s" at the end of the word to form a plural noun, isn't it ?


(I can't find this word ONES in a dictionary ! )

absolutely. "ones" is the plural form of "one".

e.g.
Which pen do you like, the green one or the blue one?

Which pens do you like, the green ones or the blue ones?
