我小朋友現時k2讀聖雅各幼稚園,唔知機會會唔會大d?  
聖雅各幼稚園校長及老師對學生是很關愛的，所以我小朋友讀得很開心!
如果小學又係甘,小朋友一定好易適應!
請問2012年前搬去那裡? 小班即total收幾多學生? 有精英班嗎? Thanks!

小兒就讀小3,homework都多呵,但是小一會較小,會有導修堂做工課,有背書不是太深,是全統教學,中文不是普通話教,小5才有精英班,只有一班,老師和校長都很好,請放心.

My son study at P2 in St. James and he is come from a kindergarten with “活動教學”, not much homework and free in school. He is OK in St. James but required some time to familiar the environment. 精英班 start at P5.

And also I would like to share my experience as below.

In general the comment from the external is true. However I would like to remind you that the rule in St. James is so tough, my son always punish by the teacher for running and talking. It is not a good experience for the children. I feel this school is not fit for the active child. I have an intention to change the school, but hesitate that he need time to familiar the new environment.

And also the administration for St. James is not good for example, no school bus after the extra school activities, it let my son can’t enjoy the activities after school. And no enough time for lunch (say about 15-20mins. since the 30mins after lunch, they need to take rest as required by school rules), too early to school. The first lesson start at 7:45am and my son will arrive school 7:05am. Please take above for consideration.

For the lunch time, I know it is 12:40 - 1:15 pm. It seems enough time to have lunch.  Then it will have a recess, but some classmates don't like this period because it's hot in the playground and long line up time waiting for going to toilet.
My son goes to school 7:20-7:30 everyday.  I don't know why going to school 7:05am.  It's so early.  Just before 7:45 am is okay.

For lunch time, the children required to toilet, wash hand and distribute the lunch box. Actually the starting time is 12:50. At 1:00, teacher will require them throw out the lunch box when if they are finish. My son always is the last one to throw out the lunch box. Then they need to clean the table and floor. After all is tidy, queue to playground at 1:15. They the children only have 10 to 15 minutes to finish their lunch box.

My son goes to school so early is because of the arrangement of the school bus. I already take a call to the company of the school bus and the reply is this is required by School. Nothing can be done by the company of the school bus.

As I know, some parents have feedback the issues to the teacher. The reply is these are School Policy, they can’t do anything.


Very disappointed.

我知道小班即係25人一班 , 但好似如果收到更多學生的話, 每班最多可加2-3人。
小學的老師一般都很關愛的 , 但有個別老師就不敢講了......(以我所見所聞)

a)  1st round 的宗教分(5分)是怎樣評核???是否小朋友要洗禮???or 只要家長是教徒便可以???要否教會信証明???

b)  1st round 要in 小朋友嗎??我聽朋友說她兩個小朋友也要in的?????

a) 一般要小朋友洗禮才算, 但曾聽聞有些學校只要家長有洗禮紙都可計算, 所以你不防致電問清楚!!!

b) 小一派位1st 係自行分配, 官津校只要需交申請表, 而直資/私校就要interview, 所以聖雅各1st係唔需interview!!!你朋友兩個小朋友都係報聖雅各嗎??

可能係由於小班教學既關係，競爭的而且確係大左， 不過我個仔今年讀小二了，我真係好興幸佢入到呢間學校， 以前我都一直好想佢入名校， 不過當然係無佢份啦，如果入到都不是一件好事， 因為我發覺原來升左小學真係另外一回事，好彩聖雅各係一間傳統學校，功課不多，壓力又不大，考試同埋課外活動中規中矩，令家長不會有太大壓力，甘我地好自然又不會俾壓力小朋友，HEHE， 真的，張校長對學校既熱誠，老師對學生既關愛係好重要，無人能保證百分百完美， 但， 我相信我個小朋友未來幾年係聖雅各係開心愉快，絕對係入左學校!
