I also sent a letter to the Principle but still no confirmation at all.  I don't think my daughter will has any chance.

not sure about the exact arrangement this year,
but for last year, SC tends to inform/offer seat to those on waiting list rather late, e.g. July/August before the new school year starts

hence, be prepared to wait and be patient, if SC is still yr first choice
