St. Paul boy vs King's College -Urgent!

The dead line is closing. My son is studing in Raimondi P6 and should belong to band 1. I have choosen St Joseph as 1st choice. For 2nd choice I am considering St Paul college  (DSS) or King's College (free).

Would appreciate if someone can comment on the academic standand and culture of these 2 schools.

Thanks for the comment. Is this based purely based on academic /school culture ( ignoring the fact that SPC is a DSS) ?

另作參考, 我公司有二個同事在st paul boys中學就讀後升讀港大畢業, 他們不約而同說中學好開心, 學校給他們有空間發展, 沒有太大讀書壓力, 我覺得他們的性情/品恪亦很平均.  如入不到kc, 入讀st paul boys 也不錯(不計DSS or free).

(2) kc
(3) spc

如果你自行報咗spc，你囝囝又係band 1 就一定比佢收咗，冇得參加大抽獎，想再搏抽到sjc嘅機會都冇理；
因為spc學費38000一年，
六年共用38000×6＝228000
二十幾萬入讀一間band 1尾的中學，不是每個家長都願意付出，你是否願意？

比較kc和spc
纯個人意見
kc成績較好，學生較純；
spc資源較多，活動較多元化。

所以如果你好鐘意sjc，對kc和spc冇乜感情，我建議你自行只揀sjc，然後抽獎楝sjc第一，spc在頭三位，咁你囝囝若不幸入唔到sjc，都一定入到spc。

如果你對三間都一樣鐘意，你大可在自行其中一間填spc，然後安枕無憂。

支持我的論點是因為近幾年我見到為數不少的中西區band 2生在大抽獎楝spc第一位都能成功入讀，即所有中西區嘅band 1 生派哂位，spc仲有位，咁你囝囝係band 1 生，揀spc頭三位，又點會派唔到？

Thanks for the detailed comments. Child education is something that we cannot repeat (or purchase) when we have more money later . Therefore, as much as possible, I will not consider the difference in cost.

Seems like everyone agreed that KC is better than SPC, disregarding the cost issue.

BTW, below are the number of Raimondi students got accepted by these schools:

SJC  4 (small chance)
KC 11
SPC 12
