Dear foggyao,

Just confirmed with Mrs. Cheung, the school bus provider, this morning that there is definitely a route runs from Chai Wan to school for pm class of kindergarten section. I'll reconfirm her contact no. and let you know soon as I don't have it with me right now.

lelia, for some reasons i gave up st clare's K1 for my girl but i can feel the enthusiasm of st clare's parents like you.  and glad that you can help many st clare's parents here a lot. thanks!

You're more than welcome! I'm glad that your worry is solved. I've managed to talk to Mrs. Cheung in the afternoon and noted that the journey time to school for the Chai Wan route is about 40-45 mins. They'll soon work out the route plan when they receive confirmations from other parents such that the route map can be structured more comprehensively.

Many of the St. Clare's parents are actually very supportive but staying low profile so there's not much sharing around. So I endeavour my best to keep others posted of the info they required and hope they worry less. I remember I did ask around about St. Clare's when I enroll my daughter to P.1 three years ago and I understand completely what the frustration is. Anyhow, it turns out that we've picked the right school for our daughter.

As you may not be involved in St. Clare's discussion threads anymore, I wish you here all the best and I'm sure your daughter would love her K.1's life in your desired school!

Heard that St. Clare's have French lessons for P.1-P.4 students. But it won't have tests or examination. Is the rumour true?

Dear cho-mama,

It's true that French lessons are offered to P1-P.4 students and there's no test or exam but they do have dictations infrequently. From Sep 09, it should be extended to P.1 - P.5. In fact, tutorial class is offered to parents once / twice a month on Saturdays (I don't quite remeber the exact frequency) so that we know what they are learning and their progress. It's free of charge! It's a pity that I cannot attend it as I need to work on some Saturdays and I only managed to attend 1 class but then I gave up since I couldn't catch up the progress anymore. I think learning a foreign language needs consistentcy and constant practice. There are 2 classes per week for the students. The School offers Japanese too but it's in the extra curriculum. Please by all means visit the school website to learn more about activites which are actually too many to list out!

Anyone know when we are going to buy uniforms, school bags and apply school bus? I heard nothing from St Clare since Jan/Feb..... Also, anyone know the start & finish time of the PM class? Many thanks!!!!!!

上星期打過電話去學校office--Miss Leung, 她話應該6/20返去做校服 & apply school bus..etc. 大約５月尾有信寄比家長.
