Anyone can share the medium of instructions in different subjects?  Are they using different MOI in the same subjects of different forms?  E.g. Putonghua in Chinese for P.1-4 but Cantonese in F.5-6?

I heard from RC teacher on the interview date, she told me they using PTH for all the Chinese subjects.  

I heard from one current parent, who said they using English for all English teaching, and has a NAT teacher teaching oral and reader (one lesson per week).

Where you got this message for they using PTH for P.1-P.4 and Cantonese for P.5-P.6?

The Putonghua ambassador told me that F.5-6 use Cantonese.  I wonder this is because they use PTH years ago or they really would switch to Cantonese in P.5-6.
I've heard that their Maths (in lower form) are in Chinese.  So I wonder it is in PTH or Cantonese, and I don't know if they will switch to English in higher form.  I cannot get the information from the web.

Any more girls being admitted to P1 this year? Do share how you think!

My girl has been luky to be accepted by RC, but no one can tell how many girls they are allowing this year (the actual turning up is of course doubtful, but I'm afraid the school may have set a fixed quota for the number of girls so as to allow gradual adaptation). As far as I know, they've got just 16 girls in P1 this school year. I do hope more girls will be going to this school. Why? May be I'm just overworried, cos I have in mind that more girls in class means a quieter learning environment and less discipline problem (compared to co-ed or girls school). Besides, more girls may mean more close friends they can make.

By the way, I live in Tsing Yi and am still waiting for the announcement of all the applied school. RC is definitely among our top choice.

如接受 RC 學位, 就要放棄 (大抽獎), 所以只有看 2008/11/24 之結果. (因 RC 2008/11/27 要交留位費). ** RC 規定留位後, 不能再抽獎. **

我大仔出年先報小一,因為都想報RC(或其他男校),想問吓有冇媽咪有個细女(好似我咁)?咁應該點部署大仔揀男校/男女校?因為细女會冇咗首名出生子女嗰5分。

RC在2008年9月已收女生, 當然比例都不太多.  但我相信會漸進呢, 因有好多人還以為RC是男校.  如果您大仔明年考P.1, 您可以一直留意吓RC的女生收生比例.

* 私校是不計分架, 即是首名次名小孩都是一樣.  您真是一位好媽媽咁早就為您2位小孩作出準備!  Good luck!

hi FungMm & other RC parents,

Yesterday 自行公佈結果, very very lucky that my daughter was accepted by a famous school in Island East (10個選1個都中).

縱使這個機會非常難得, 朋友都說如同中了六合彩, 但經過非常慎重深思考慮各方面因素(包括學校老師質素,家長學生質素,教學語言,中學網等...)及小女自己意願, 我和hb決定choose RC.

今早致電RC, 並得知學校接受了女生的人數約為總收生人數的三份之一, 這令我更加放心了.

今後, 請大家共同努力加油 !!
