St Jo 同埋 St Paul's college 都收左, 兩間都係男校, 又係一條龍, 應該選邊間?
宜家最大要考慮既問題就係車程, 去St Jo只須15分鐘, 但去St Paul boy's 要一個鐘, 好驚阿仔會好辛苦
如果有幸TSL都收, 應如何選擇?
我好鍾意呢間學校既學習環境同氣氛, 更喜歡佢係男女校, 不過無一條龍, 6年後又要再煩過
今日老公突然話想個仔讀音小(已交留位費1000), 佢話讀書可以輕鬆D, 無咁大壓力, 我宜家真係好煩呀!!

家長們: 如果比在你地會如何選擇? 可唔可以比少少分析我? 謝謝!!

I got the same priblem, I live in Kowloon east, but only school in Hong Kong side accept my son ( RS and St Paul boys ) I am still thinking if I shall let my son to study in one of them. 因為路程實在係一個考慮因素.
Do you know St. Paul 幾點返学同幾點放學?
and pick up time of the school bus in Kowloon east?

As far as I understand, St Jo and St Paul boys are not一條龍.  But of course, the difference between 一條龍 and 直屬 is not great.

如果st.paul 返學時間係8:10am, 起不是7:00am 要搭校車, 6:30am就要起身??
嘩....真係諗起都覺得辛苦, 唔知阿仔頂唔頂得順??

有無家長都係住起kln east? 可否分享一下??

For long term, I would like to choose the St Paul because the St Jo (Kowloon) is not so good at the secondary school allocation. They show only directed association but not one-dragon system.
TSL is also good but no any directed secondary school. You have to repeat one more time in secondary allocation.

不過我宜家最擔心就係車程問題, 畢竟個仔都係得6歲人仔, 要花咁多時間起車程上, 真係怕佢會好辛苦, 同老公相量過應唔應該搬近d學校, 但....又要考慮埋細仔, 因細仔出年會起kln kong讀k1, 所以真係幾煩惱!!

I live in Hong Kong East.  my son wake up around 6:15 (for breakfast and dress) and get on school buses @ 7:00

get well prepare, he will get used to it.  

But think twice la, don't want u regret only.

Hi andrewpapa,

The bus service of your boy is OK.  We live in Wanchai, my boy still needs to get up at around 6:30 for breakfast & dress.  As he is the first one to be picked up on his route, and he leaves home at around 7:05.

It is a very important that the pick-up point of school bus is the first point or last point. If you choose the school that seems to be nearby or same living area, but it is the first pick-up point. It is time consuming because your kid still spend almost one-hour journey on streets.
If it is the similar time for school bus journey among nearby school and beloved school, just take the beloved school as first priority not the location.

We are the second to be picked up.

Think about when we were young, almost the same la.  many need to travel a lot to school.  don't too spoil our children.  Let them learn some difficulties la

I was there once for a church function.

the school is big coz both the primary and secondary share the same campus.  

correct me if i am wrong

We live in Hung Hom.  My boy gets up at 6:30am and takes the nanny bus at 7:05am.  For the Kowloon nanny buses (except the one taking the Western Harbour Tunnel), they have to get to the Cross-Harbour Tunnel before 7:25am to avoid traffic jam.  You can compare the time needed for the "Kowloon to Kowloon bus students" and you'll find that they are not better than we "Kowloon to HK" bus students.  

I don't worry about 車程 because they can take a nap on the nanny bus.  The most important thing is to let your kid have enough sleep.

For 音小, my collegue's son studies there at P.2.  Her son has to take 1-2 hours to finish his homework.  So, don't think it is easier than a traditional school.  Also, please check the school time.  It can be longer than a normal school and students could have to get home at around 5:00pm.  If I get these wrong, pls clarify.

St.Paul's College vs St.Joseph (Kwun Tong)

St.Paul's College should be better. Agreed that you may quit St.Joseph first. The registration date is next week. For St. Paul's, you can visit the school this Friday and attend the P.1 briefing before making further decision. Having choices are better than no choice. Congratulations!

我同老公都係決定21號先去聽左簡介會先, 到時再問埋校車行車路線, 頭先打去音小問, 佢放學時間要3:55PM, 我諗返到屋企都要4點半, 但校車資料要6月先比到我
我諗等埋11月24日TSL個結果, 我地就可以有決定
