Applying KGV secondary- a good school ?

My 11 years old girl is applying for KGV, since that's the only one ESF school in Kowloon.  My questions are :
1.  Is it a good school, academic-wise and other aspect e.g. teacher's quality? student's background? friendly?
2.  Is it true over 70% are local, so any one know parents with kids studying there and what's their comment of the school
3. My girl will take the admission test soon.  Does that mean they have opening, or after admission test, you get into the waiting list
4. Is it true there's long waiting list

I'm think same as ESF primary, they will not invite you for interview if no space.  So once your test result is positive, they will offer you a seat imm and no need to put in waiting list.
