Hi, 各位BK mum, 請問坊間有冇一些好的Phonics敎材呀? 可否介紹一些給我, 因出面學Phonics的課程很貴, 還要學很久才能完成整個課程呢! Thanks a lot!!!

Can I buy Hooked on phonic and Jolly phonic in Hong Kong?  Where? Book Stores? and Price?

If I can buy them in Hong Kong, I can screen them first and see if they are suitable for my son, and we may watch the VCD first on TV at some book stores in Hong Kong.

Dear Wynma,

You can buy Hooked on Phonics in Dymocks in Hong
Kong.  The complete set with Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2 (for Ages 4 - 8) costs $3280 in Dymocks.  If you buy only Kingergarten or Grade 1/2, each costs $1380.  If
you order them from the US directly, it is half the price.

I found it very troublesome so I bought them in Dymocks,
very expensive, but it's really vey good.  My daughter,
aged 5, likes it so much and she has finished 3/4 of the
coursebook (Kingergarten set) within 2 months.  If your
child has started learning phonics at school, it is excellent
to supplement with Hooked on Phonics.  My daughter is
now very glad that she can read books.

佢地有寫清楚架wor, 所有under hooked on phonics的都是.
我未有咁早比囡囡wor...
雖然佢地都有product比0歲bb, 但我覺得3歲以上先學.

之前都睇過有bk 媽咪話自己女女唔中意hooked on, 中意jolly phonics

Age of 3 or under to learn the phonics is too early, normal starting at age 5.

I suggest parents read more aloud stories with kids or books with lot of pictures.
