優才家校合作方面如何?

1) 優才係全港首創,每班設有兩個家長班代表既學校。

2) 學校透明度高,任何決策基本上都會咨詢家長意見。

3) 學校設有各種小組,如校服小組、校車小組.....上至主席下至組員,全部由家長全權負責。(之前既MK校舍,亦有家長負責監察工程)

4) 每年會發放幾次家長問卷,如家長意見合理,校方會考慮採納。例如,我之前曾經提議過,希望學校可以學多一種外語,結果今年呀仔已經學緊日文。

5) 經常舉辦各種講座, 活動之類。

6) 有家長每星期義務返學校擔任小組導師,例如:團契、烹飪、時裝設計.....(大部份屬中學部)

7) 小一同小四會有觀課安排。

8) 每年學期尾,校方會舉辦「課程討論大會」。如果校方來年各科有任何改變,或轉換任何教科書,都會通知家長。

9) 所有班代表,家教會成員及各小組負責人,每兩個月要同校方開一次大會,並且歡迎全校家長出席及發表意見。

10) 每年有兩名學生家長, 成為校董會成員, 直接參與校政。除此之外, 响校董會, 仲有兩、三個校董, 係已經畢左業幾年既學生家長, 而家仲奉獻緊佢既時間比學校, 可以睇倒校方同家長關係非常良好。

11) 家長如有某方面專長,校方會盡量比機會家長發揮。

12) 家長及學生有權在某件事上投票作出決定。例如中學部校服款式,係由家長及學生投票選出來。另外,風褸由優中學生設計唔同款式,之後由優中學生及家長作出投票。

另外,班主任每星期要響手冊度,寫出學生該星期既表現。

家校合作真的十分重要,透明度高,亦可給我們發表意見的空間,我沒有專長但是日後亦希望成為義工為學校出一點力.

有個愚蠢的問題,第一輪收生失敗左可唔可以參加第二輪?校方話唔得,但我知道有家長有咁做!

抑或第一輪面試完再篩選一批再參加第二輪面試?
係分兩次in唔同既學生。

Hello,

小兒有幸被GT取錄了, 想確認一下以下問題:

1) 中文科是小二才用普通話教學, 還是小一開始?
2) 因為是中文小學, 是否除了英文科, 其他都是中文教學?
3) 升上中學, 是英中,還是中中呢?
4) 基本上, 教學課本及內容與其他主流學校會不會有很大分別?

請指教.

3) 升上中學, 是英中,還是中中呢?英中
4) 基本上, 教學課本及內容與其他主流學校會不會有很大分別?分別唔大,但部份科目會有自訂教材

教育局响07年12月, 派視學官黎優才做[ 全面評估 ], 正式報告已經出左。

管理架構及表現

管理人員質素

- the Principle is an experienced professional with
   sound knowledge in gifted education
- he fully understand the development targets of the  
  school and is devoted to providing a joyful
  environment for both students and teachers
- he also keeps close contact with his students and gives
  timely support to their nee and development
- the Curriculum Director (CD)takes the lead and shape
  on the curriculum development
- the four VP are capable, very experienced and have  
  sound professional knowledge in learning and teaching
- the middle managers are responsible and experienced
  professionals and some of them can lead the
  subject/department development
- school staff have confidence in the school’s  
  continuous development and their sense of belonging
  to the school is obvious
- there is trust and respect among staff members and
   teachers
